Simrace.pl invites to the 4h Endurance race for 2-person teams.



The Driver Swap Race is an Endurance race with driver change that will take place on March 28, 2020 at 5:30 pm (GMT+0) on the Spa and will last for 4 hours. This means that each of the two team drivers will spend around 2 hours behind the stint. Teams can choose any Pit Stop strategy and driver changes, only the total time behind the wheel for each driver is limited to about 2 hours (exactly 130 minutes). The training session starts at 5:30 pm (GTM+0)

After a successful 1st 4-hour race at the Spa, it's time to organize the next
This time the competition will take place on the Paul Ricard track and will last until 6h!



The race will be a virtual equivalent of the Paul Ricard 1000 km which actually takes place in the calendar of the "GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup" series. As before, start possition will depend on the results of the prequalification. On the day of the race there will be open training session during which participating 2 person teams will be able to connect to the game server. The race will start with a full forming lap using the ACC widget.

Rules
The race is organized by Simrace.pl on the Assetto Corsa Competizione platform. The organizers are based on what the game provides and are not responsible for any errors. To participate in the race, log in to the website provided by the organizer and create a team or join an existing one. You cannot participate in the race without teammate.

Registration:

1. Registration takes place via a specially prepared website - swap.simrace.pl
2. To register you need to create team or join an existing one. After sing up you need to complete driver profile with name and surname provided in ACC driver profile.
3. To participate you need to have at least 70 SA and 3 track medals.

Teams:

1. The team consists of two drivers.
2. Team has a number assigned to the car.
3. Creating or joining a team is equivalent with participation in race.
4. Teams are obligated to use same number provided on the website.
5. Paintinig and car setup is taken from the driver which connects first to the server (within team).
6. We try to make races and broadcasts look and be as professional as possible, so please avoid stupid or offensive names in team names. The organizer reserves the right to force a name change that deviates from these recommendations.

Prequalifying:

1. Every driver taking part is obligated to do at least 1 clean lap on prequalifying server.
2. Organizer does not expect to divide the grid into PRO / SEMI-PRO / AM servers.
3. Preq ends at 1:00 pm on Race day.

Qualifying:

1. Default grid possition on the race start will be based on prequalifying times. There will be no qualifying on race day.

Race:

1. Free practice takes place at 17:30 CEST time.
2. The race will start at 18:00 CEST time with a full formation lap and will last 6 hours (360 minutes). Time multiplier is x1.
3. Max total driving time for one driver is 190 minutes. Exceeding this time means team disqualification (DQ).
4. Each driver is obligated to complete his stint.

Pit Stop:

1. During the race, drivers are obligated to do driver swap.
2. Refuelling and tyre change is allowed but not mandatory.

Additional rules:

1. Registered teams are obligated to take place in race.
2. Leaving the race after its start (Rage Quit) or not showing up at the start may result in the exclusion of team members from subsequent races organized by Simrace.pl.
3. All participants are obligated to test driver swap and game behaviour by their own. Organizers also take part in event and will not conduct pre-race training "how to".
4. Test server will be launched one week before the race. Entrylists will be updated everyday around 1:00 PM

It's time to announce the next date for the Driver Swap Race!



This time the competition will take place on the well-known Nurbugring circuit. It will be a night race that will start at 6 PM and will last 4 hours. Rules for participation in the race will remain unchanged. One important change is the limit of participants limited to 50 teams. As before, start possition will depend on the results of the prequalification (average time of both drivers in the team).

Simrace.pl has a pleasure to announce Swap Race 4h Mixed Grid based on Assetto Corsa Competizione with GT4 Pack DLC.



List of available cars includes all GT3 and GT4 cars available in Game and DLC.

Race weekend:

• free practice: 30min
• qualifying: 30min (first 15 minutes for GT3 cars, last for GT4)
• free practice: 2min (to avoid ACC bug)
• race: 240min (4h)
• time multiplier:
  • free practice: 4x,
  • qualifying: 4x,
  • race: 4x

All sessions during race weekend (apart from prequalifying) take place in random weather conditions! Simulation is being calculated based on:

• cloud level: 0.3
• weather randomness: 3 (realistic)

Before the race there will be prequalifying session to qualify teams for the race.
GT4 Pack DLC is required to participate (if the GT4 car is selected).
