1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Check out drive backup software like Macrium, for answers for your first 2 questions.

I think he want's to transfer from drive to drive, not just patrician management, which backup software will handle.

Edit: Down load the instructions for Macrium. to understand its capabilities, like drive cloning.

A plus, there is a free version.

I am also thinking about migrating my OS to a new SSD as my old SSD is slow. mini tool has a built in feature although I am scared to do it though.. I think mini tool will be fine as it has never let me down with other tasks however I just wonder if there will be any issues later on with applications..

  7. Hi folks thanks for the responses. I want to transfer drive to drive.

The mini tool one can definitely do that, I don't know the other software mentioned

How very strange; I have had the program for years always the free one, just updated to this version when it was released a few days ago, maybe some privilege carried forward, not complaining though, sorry for the misinformation, before replying I did a complete os copy to a new drive and booted from it

If you buy a Samsung drive you get the Samsung Magician software for free which will do the cloning for you. Works very well.

Crucial and Samsung SSD comes with their own backup/Copy tools. Available for free at their home site. Didn't check other company but I think they follow the same politic.
I've used both when getting a new SSD and both gives me good result.

    for your question :
1 - no, but honestly it has been a pain in the *** to clone a drive bigger than the target SSD (obviously you have to remove some files and if they are in system folder, clone tool doesn't do the job by itself)
2 - no, you could only clone the partition that contains system

It's ok I went with your suggestion and used Macrium Reflect 7 Free. Thank you as it worked like a charm.. :)

It asks you for your email address on dl and install however you do not have to provide this to advance to the next stage. I was able to clone a OS GPT SSD to a GPT SSD in 12 min with no errors. The new cloned disk booted up fine and this is what I am using now. happy days..
