1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I've never seen a release like this. A game that honestly I didn't even expect on current consoles, announced with a release in a couple of months. Then no footage.

    I understand they just want to market the game based on the success it's having on PC. But there are so many concerns about performances after the announcement of 30fps on consoles.

    The craziest thing is that they didn't even quickly dismiss fake rumors. Online there are rumors about exclusive Logitech support. Fake rumors and doubts, obviously. Come on, there's no way they would sacrifice graphics and framerate to save physics and ffb just for pads and G29/G920. I don't know how it started but it's a suicide that they haven't stopped it properly yet.

    It does look fine and i assume as mentioned in previous posts and the Q&A, Xbox One is running this in 4k?

    Based on that i think i will give it a buy, i enjoy AC to this day and have had some epic battles online with friends and randoms. I can get over the 30fps, if it seems solid enough, once the underlying Physics and sounds are intact.

    I seen this also, if only they could have released the PS4 Pro game play above before this Q&A session..... Regardless it looked fine for me in Cockpit cam and i look forward to getting on the track, hopefully they have password protected lobbies like AC.

    I think it looks OK....and most console players will be happy with this. Remember, most console players are also not used to the added power we get with modern PC so they won't miss what they never had.
    30 FPS is doable if it is smooth I think, and with modern motion enhancing TV's....I think this could work.

    When they reluctantly gave us private lobbies on console it didn't turn out so well though did it?. Unless one prefers endless skid and crash, sorry, "drift" lobbies or track days at Nords of course.

    If they were to get the online part of this game even halfway to GTS's general race accessibility, it could be quite the surprise hit methinks.

    Hmmm, a driving game with GTS's easy accessibility and flexibility, but with a better penalty system and AC/ACC level physics. I can dream.

    P.S. Watched the official ps4 pro gameplay and saw lots of pop in and regular stutters too. Hasn't filled me with confidence. I'll wait a bit.

    Are you actually a console player? Doesn't sound like it. So perhaps not the best person to judge what they will be happy with?

    I'm a PC player so I'm not in the best position to judge either but since the leading console racing games (Forza, GT Sport, PC2, F1-2019 and of course AC) run at 60 fps, they might miss that. Not that I expected ACC to do 60 fps on console, as I don't get 60 fps on my PC.

    Review / Streamer codes which where initially meant to be out Wednesday / Thursday have still not been received apparently. Never a good sign that. The proper gameplay video we saw yesterday looked fine so it is surprising.
