1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Cool! That's the good thing about having a game focused on a single series; more time to create all the bells and whistles that go with it in real life, looking forward to it. Wonder how it will look for the enduro events when they have to fit 50 cars in the pits :p.

Agree, but also isnt it just better? M6 GT3 has been such a let down in the blancpain series at least. Although i didn't watch yesterdays race yet i doubt they got a win.

This has been known from the beginning. I was really hoping someone with 458 GT3 will enter the championship :D

Well, at least Marco sounded confident that they're able to bring also the NSX. Which didn't seem completely clear (in this thread) earlier...

He said basically what we knew all along: They'll try to bring all the cars.

I rather they focus on the NSX than on the outdated models that still race.

As much as the 458 GT3 spec may not be too competitive any more I certainly have a soft spot for the awesome NA engine and would love to see it

Same here and I don't think it isn't competitive. A couple of years ago that car was still giving the new gen cars a run for their money. That engine is a masterpiece and I think it will stay potent for a while. It's too bad Ferrari didn't go the same road Merc did with using old engine in a new car.

Yeah, after I posted that I remembered that the cars use bop restrictors anyway so whatever it gives up to the newer engine is balanced out anyway

Yup, same here, here. Absolutely love that screaming NA V8 in the old 458. When you ain’t got the g-forces of the real thing to get the adrenaline flowing, that muffled 488 makes for such a damp squib in comparison.

Yeah, I hope this turns out well. Blancpain GT expanding to North America (or PWC adopting Blancpain regs) would be great but not sure what SRO's plans are here.

I think it's unlikely because of logistics. It's relatively easy moving your equipment around Europe, taking it across the pond is quite a different story.

Blancpain GT Asia exists. No reason Blancpain GT North America can't exist. Same for the GT4 Series. And PWC already has one round as part of the IGTC, also a SRO series, so they'd have a structure of regional and international GT3 and GT4 series across the globe (well, Europe, Asia, Australia and North America at least).

But once again, I have no idea what SRO is planning with acquiring World Challenge.

It's one thing to have a Blancpain GT series NA, but my interpretation of "Blancpain GT expanding to North America" was that the European series would have rounds in NA, and that I'd find impossible.

2019 is going to be good. Hopefully Kunos have plans or decide to keep up.

Porsche 919, Porsche 911 GT3 R, Ferrari 488 GT3, Nissan GT-R GT3, and now the Huracan GT3. Suddenly everyone has decided to make an EVO version of their racecars.
