Thanks for the responses panky , lets hope 2019 features more gt3s and tracks

 

Lets hope for a high quality core sim, that will be the base for all that's there to come... the only thing, that matters at this stage. Worst thing would be to deliver tons of half-baked content. I'm damn excited for the moment i see the new engine in action!

 

Not bothered with road cars or vintage cars just race cars and race tracks

 

Rumours are Blancpain Gt3 2019 will have 40 rounds worldwide as they join all the national series into 1 big mega series. Good luck to the track artists and scanners.

As long as blancpain race at bathurst in 2019 it couldnt give a rats *** whatever else happens

 

@martcerv That would actually be excellent! All tracks would be "forced" to let Kunos scan them

 

@pankykapus Are there plans to put some "icons" from the last year (the #55 Ferrari 488 GT3 from the First Trailer for example) in the game like the MotoGP games from Milestone?

 

I dont know if its just paranoia but is the r8 different this year, thought it looked less blocky?

@pankykapus What can you share with us regarding your plans to what we'll be able to do with our cars, livery-wise? I already know changing the number will be possible, but you guys also mentioned the game will feature a collection of sponsors we can use. Also shapes I assume?

 

If they don't include Peniston Oils and Larsen's biscuits as sponsors I'll not even bother.

 

I know the game is not even out yet, but since we are talking about content anyway, here is an interesting thing.


New 911 GT3. If it is coming to Blancpain GT in 2019, I guess it will make it into ACC.

As far as I know McLaren 720S GT3 and new Aston Vantage GT3 are also in development, so 2019 can potentially be more interesting than we think.

I know there are details you can and some you can't reveal. But can you tell how exactly the licensing process work? Do you license the series with SRO and then you have to get the individual licenses for each car from the manufacturers? I was under the impression that if a car takes part in the series, then SRO would have the right to give you the license for that car.

 

SRO does not own the rights for the cars, nor the tracks, from what I know.

 

Yea. It makes sense now that I think of it, but I used to think you'd license all cars and tracks as a "batch". What a pain in the *** it must be for you to license every track and every car after you gained the license to the competition, especially if someone says "well, if you want a license to our car/track, you're gonna have to pay us X, otherwise say goodbye to your official Blancpain game".
