1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Nice! I kind of anticipated this when seeing NVidias interview video with Marco. But when ACC among others was RTX poster child, it started to look like a given... should bring some better performance, most indie games can only dream of getting a game ready driver, they just have to work with what happens to get released

    ACC's not really an indie anymore, they are backed by 505 now so they are solidly in the AA sector. Would be amazing if they went AAA at some point but that would require a massive investment which is unrealistic without a big spender like microsoft or sony coming in

    Yeah but I've never felt any difference (FPS or visuals) with or without new drivers even when it was a year old vs new one designed for the new released game. I think it's more about SLI, 3D Vision etc. profiles than actual performance.

    yeah acc is most def not indy, with 505 backing and obvious funding from nvidia to advertise rtx

    Well good news for SLI users at least. Iirc I had to use NVidia inspector to get SLI working with AC1, when I had two 770s

    And yeah well, indie or not indie, this didn't happen with AC1. And the studio itself is still around 30 people afaik

    I didn't have to do anything fancy to get my 980ti's going...must be Maxwell vs Pascal ? that caused you to have to use Inspector ?

    I think what it actually does is to recommend the settings which look best with Nvidia cards. :) I wouldn't know how to implement a profiler which checks your hardware, and then gives recommendations about best performance/visuals ratio anyway. Impossible.

    Before install i did a benchmark. I go 12k, did it again and got 18k. Installed new drivers and got 25k (before i used to get 34k). Im sure if i did another test i'd get higher, like the PC needs to get warmed up, not sure there.
    I did notice for weeks i was just getting 90fps with 1-5% headroom in VR. Now im back to 10-30% like it used to be. Whatever last driver i was using really sucked.

    Or maybe a windows 10 update messed things up, cause two others i know also complained about a sudden lost of performance

    Okay.... i dont understand the benchmark, sometimes it uses 66% cpu for whole test and other times 90%. Which makes a huge different to score.

    It usually gives bad recommendations (try AC profile) plus GeForce Experience can add some drag on the system and known to cause weird issues like stuttering, etc.
    To NVidia credit they have finally made its installation optional so you can avoid hassle of uninstalling it afterwards.
