1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Advantages pf inverted g27 pedal?

    As the title says, what are the advantages of an inverted pedal compare to the original settings?

    I know if you mod the pedals you will have more spacing for your feet but other than that what else?
    The reason i am asking your opinion is i'm considering on moding my pedals i even bought nixim spring for my brake.
    Please feel free to leave your own opinions thanks

    Although I have read a lot of positive things about inverting the pedals, it was dissappointing for me. For the clutch and throttle it's fine, however for the brake (also with Nixim mod) I found it very hard to modulate the pedal. With the normal position I was able to brake exactly how much I wanted, with the pedals inverted it felt like the tiniest bit of pressure I already fully pressed the brake. I've tried it for about 2 weeks and couldnt adapt to it, so reverted to normal.

    well for me it helped a lot. but i usually drive older junk with manual gear and clutch, imho inverted pedals are a must if you heel'n'toe. i also have a load-cell mod on the brake tho.

    Yep the main advantage seems to be heel-and-toe. Since your right foot presses to bottom of the pedal to rev match, that point being farther from the pedal axis makes it easier to press the throttle, and if the throttle is easier to press, then it's easier to keep a stable input on the brakes at the same time.

    Also, you may now get rid of the pedal floor base, making it easier to clean/broom/vacuum around the pedals.

    Well that's what I'm talking about, many different opinions on this matter. Unlike you I actually felt it was harder to heel n toe with inverted pedals, may be because the angle in which the pedals are mounted, who knows..

    @0weng , if you are going to invert the pedals, just try to also make it possible to mount them the normal way, just in case it doesn't satisfy. :)

    Thanks for the replies guys, i might invert it on my day off.. I am trying to learn how to heal toe and it is really hard with the original settings. I am newbie on this game(im new on sim racing, i played fps games in the past 4 years) so your feedback helps me alot thanks again.
