1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    FidelityFX on CSP is working brilliantly in VR in ACC1. Now I can run SOL with all settings at maximum and locked 90 fps, nodschleiffe 32 cars. I have a 3080 and it would dip to 80fps before.

    There's no reason KS can't do that on unreal. A random dude did that as a mod in 20 days lol

    Well, i doubt that we will see this feature. First they would need to update UE to 4.26 and if i´m not mistaken this was already denied, because of to much custom code.

    I'll give a explanation to people that struggle with files, after downloading the zip from the open source, in the archive you need "openvr_mod" to edit the renderscale, it is located as it is shown in the bottom window.

    And "openvr_api.dll" in the right window, go in the game directory, then in "(Engine / Binaries / ThirdParty / OpenVR / OpenVRv1_0_16 / Win64)" change openvr_api.dll which is the original from the game to "openvf_api.orig.dll" in case you want to uninstall the mod and put the two firsts files in there.
    Open "openvf_mod" to change the settings (i do with a notepad)

    Ok so I’m using a Reverb G2 for reference, 5800X, 3090, 32gb DDR4 @ 3600mhz CL16... these are my findings after having a play at Spa this eve.


    Original settings (using reshade CAS):

    - Steam resolution 60%, 70% in game render res, 150% VR pixel density = ~90% GPU @ 90hz.

    - Observations: vast improvement over stock settings, reshade with CAS was a huge improvement.


    After FidelityFX Super resolution (default config file):

    - leaving all other settings unchanged ~60% GPU @ 90hz

    - Observations: surprisingly clear still, but a notable step down from previous setup in overall visual quality.

    After FSR and tweaking for new headroom:

    - Steam 60%, 100% (+30) in game render res, 155% (+5) pixel density = ~90% GPU @ 90hz

    - Observations: as good as ACC has ever looked on my system. I would say definitely a step up from the previous setup in amount of detail and overall visual quality, and I was already pretty happy with where that was at after the reshade mods.

    Verdict - worthwhile for ACC imo!


    (For all setups Sharpen slider @ 140, TAA epic).

    Is this really just replacing the dll and copying the config file in the mentioned directory? Because using an Index with Steam VR, unfortunately I cant see a difference in performance and I dont think I am CPU bottlenecked. GPU always is before and after this mod at about 75%. I tried several upscale values. Has anybody got an idea?

    NON VR...Tried the open source version on GTAV it worked pretty well, looked slightly better than the in game render scale reductions alone.

    Same kinda setup with some file renaming and drag and dropped DLL's. Its one of those where its so easy I was having trouble working out if it was placebo. Might have a play about with it later manually. If I brick something, I'm probably due a reinstall of Windows soon anyway.

    Is there a way to run it with a triple monitor setup or it's VR only ?

    On a different note, as much as i read and understand, you don't need to use the latest Unreal code, one can port it himself into the engine. Think of it as a little bit more advanced Reshade.
