1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    FYI AMS fans. The new Puma's have arrived (well. the classics too) and they are superb to drive. If you have AMS and enjoy it, these are a great addition and should not be overlooked imo.

    Also, there are some McLarens coming . . . (?) o_O

    How Caterham feels in Automobilista? Compared to AC (mod*). It also has got that massive front end aero lift, resulting in horrible understeer (*medium/fast corners)?

    Not that I know of. They behave the way I expected them to. Also, aren’t they part of the Brit pack? So Brands et al. laserscanned?
    To me definitely worth the money.

    I find the Caterhams to be fun to drive they seem well balanced to me.
    Although it's at the end of it's life the game is worth the cost at the current price $8.25 + $4.50 for the brit pack lots of cars and 3 tracks

    The Caterham's are fun to thrash around and balance nicely on throttle, more stable than the FormulaVee but, they are all very fun drives.

    Just a "Heads Up" for any Reiza supporters (Campaign backers) here.

    If you own rFactor2 and would like to receive the Reiza DLC pack for rF2, you can receive it for free by providing your Steam ID in the limited-access Reiza-51 "rF2 Bundle" thread.
    The pack is expected to release by the end of this month, (maybe sooner) but, the exact timing is determined by S397 and Steam.

    would you mind if your preffered sim would get good quality content from other sim .. ? it is win win situation specially considering it is free for AMS bakers .. if I could pick just one sim for content (physics, sounds, feeling wise) it would be AMS .. having some less usual cars in AC would be blast

    As you seem to be asking me directly, sure I'd love some fresh content for AC.
    But this content going to RF2, really, smoke and mirrors.
    Maybe RF2 should produce some more original content, the entire game is a mash up second rate content of mixed origin.
    As for AMS, looking forward to the new title,
    hope they're not wasting to much valuable development time with this RF2 crossover stuff.
