1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Any way add non-supported tires?

I'm curious ab0ut the differences between a Porsche GT4 Clubsport and the GT4 street version. Unfortunately, before I can even start I am faced with the fact that the only tire option is a hard slick for the Clubsport and the semi-slick for the regular GT4. I know some GT4 drivers do use slicks so is there a way to add them to the sim?

  3. Throw some cash (and data) at one of the physics gurus and they can custom make pretty much whatever tire you want.

That's sort of helpful. I've got some cash but what data do I need and who do I contact?

Using Content Manager, you can replace tires from Porsche GT4 Clubsport to the GT4 street. https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/content-manager-aka-alternative-launcher.33824/ I have try it and been able to beat my personal time with the Porsche GT4 Clubsport on Blackwood with the GT4 street, before swap I was 2 sec. slower. Those tires make a real differences on the drive of the street version it is more stable an grip is really supreior. Make suer to make a copy of the GT4 street before to bring it back to original. Good luck.

Thanks. I installed this app a while back but never saw a reason to use it. This is a great reason.

How do I do this? Do I copy the entire street GT4 directory or is there a specific file or directory I have to protect?

    Copy the car file:

Thanks. That was my fall-back position but I thought there might be something in there that was all I needed to copy.

I take it adding a new tire deletes the old rather than adding to it.

No, you can just add them to the tyres.ini below the existing tyres. Just make sure you copy in the needed lut files and use the right numbering

I'll have to see how that works. This is all new to me. I will be sure to save the original directory before I try anything !
