are there online leaderboards and/or car setups?

Hi,

first, I just want to say that I'm loving this sim. my main questions though, is are there online leaderboards to see how my times compare, and is it possible to download player car setups?

these are both features I love in other racing games.

I've been playing with the cars 'stock' with all assists off, and I seem to be really bad. as an example, I've been playing the Silverstone gp track event, with the e30 group a car. bronze time is about 2.21 I think, and the best I can do, is only 2.24. I feel like I have maybe 1-1.5 seconds improvement. yet the gold time is 2.17 and I've seen a time online that is 2.15!

Your car combo got wiped from RSR after the 0.5.3 update. There's only one time on the leaderboard XD

 

well, ... grrrr.... Just when I had all the Pro combos done, overall and FAbarth...

But makes sense, really, with the new tire model. Oh well. As if I need some excuse to race some cars around some tracks....

yeah, I noticed after. It's all good. It's not as if there were any WR's or anything. All the PRO lists are cleared, though.

The Group A BMW got nerfed in the latest update. Before it was as powerful as the new classic DTM Group A BMW, but the times were not adjusted. So 2:24 is not terrible for a newcomer, but you could definitely aim for 2:21 and succeed
The setup for the Group A that I tried at Mugello yesterday for 2:04.1 is just a default setup with one click less rear wing, brake bias of 70 and adjusted fuel.

 

If and when leaderboards are implemented, I would love if we would be able to sort the list by countries.
I would love to see the country flag beside the drivers too. I'm a sucker for that

Not sure if you can sort by country or not (probably can) but both leaderboard apps have your countries flag next to your name.

 

I don't understand why this is not allready implemented in the game. I LOVE Forza for this. It's the only reason why racing games won't get boring, cause u can always go for a better time. Not much fun without leaderboards for time trials. It's the reason why i think Gran Turismo sucks and i never ever play it while i have 5 and 6, but it's sooooo boring without the leaderboards.

To be honest, i think it's STUPID when u make a racing game without time trial leaderboards. Really really DUMB.
