1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Aris, a wish - not a wishlist (hint: more car blogs)

  1. @Aristotelis I just spent some time re-reading your car blogs. You've heard it before, but I'll say it again. Incredible and helpful.

After 1.0.7 and new tire model, I've just been so happy driving and re-learning my Ferrari. Then, 2 days ago I decided to try a couple other cars. First, the Porsche 991 R - always wanted to like this one (have seen the GTE versions live and they blew me away), but from 1.0 to 1.06 I just couldn't drive it. Now it has come to me - albeit very challenging.

Then, I thought I would give the AMG another go - love the look, love the sound, but couldn't tame it previously. Now, with 1.0.7 it is becoming my go-to car. I'm close to my Ferrari times on most tracks, but still figuring it out. So.... now I am so anxious to see your car blog on the AMG (and of course the others).

I can certainly wait since I know that all this time the chefs at Kunos are continuing to cook up new treats for all of us. But, I hadn't seen a "Aris, when can we get xxxx" post recently - so here it is :).

Thank you again for my favorite toy.

I remember in a race department video that the 2019 update will be part of the 1.1 release.
Currerntly we are on 1.0.7.1 with 1.0.8 comming so the wait dosen't seem too long.

but we can expect it in october i guess, after the season finale.

Having made a few laps in real on a track near home with a grand tour car designed for track day (I know they are different cars) but I did not find the tire feeling in the ACC simulation, which currently seems like too woody on sand, and in replays the car's behavior does not reflect real movements, but is too flat: think you can improve this aspect and also make the FFB details a little stronger?
Congratulations on the result so far achieved!

What i do think is that at low speed(under 100km/h) the tyres feels little bit stiff compared to RF2 and this stiffness of tyres cause little understeer at mid to high speeds(above 130km/h).
But this new patch tyres feels more soft than previous version for sure.
