In a post on gtplanet yesterday Jordan (administrator) revealed that they are having an interview with Marco soon, and asked people to send in questions.
    Just a tip. :)

  2. Hey guys! I'm playing with cockpit+"look with wheel" settings. I have achieved some serious results, but I am not 100% satisfacted yet.
Is there someone who knows what gamma parameter does? thx a lot.

GT3 cars especially, since being VERY sensitive to pitch changes, bounding over a big curb will change the down force dramatically, let alone not having the wheels on the ground,... with the expected results in the above video.

let me try to explain myself the best i can :)

on that video its hard to say where exactly the car hit the curb. So in iracing that behavor happens too but u have to literally fail big time the chicane, like in the video. whille in ACC seems that the chicane its a tiny bit over exagerated. U hardly touching the curb and the car is already flying in the air ( but as i said, even with this video its hard to say wich sim get it more realistic).

Now independently of what sim got it more realistic, In ACC an hit on the curb like that of the video, should be an end race most likely. but it isnt.

I remember reading somewhere that undercarriage damage is not in ACC

Hit enough curbs and you can easily damage the suspension. Try it, you will clearly feel it in the car, to the point the car can be undrievable.

Really? Never experienced anything like that, except the tire damage of course..

Blast the wall hard enough it will break the suspension too I "drove" back to the pits a few times with both front wheels pointing inward, I had to like turn the wheel and stand on it to slide the rear to get the car to change direction lol.

    LATE4APEX Alien

Yep, experienced everything from simply an offset steering wheel, to what you described.

Don't you think guys that front engine cars' rain advantage is too huge? It shoukd be so, but doesn't it TOO huge? Aston Martin and Lexus going like on rails, while Audi or Ferrari or Porsche fighting for survivng.

Wall has always given damage - I think he means kerb-only damage. I've never had damage in ACC from just hitting kerbs - either contact with walls or other cars are the only 2 ways to get damage.

I was just expanding on what I said about the curbs. I'm telling you blast the curbs a few times it messes up the suspension. I've done it many times.

but that hit is not only undercarriege.. its wheel rim, tyre, suspension, front splitter, and god know what else more.

The current state of the 2015 AMG is that rain is not good with 2019 tracks. My league locks cars for the season and we're still on that spec. The AMG and Ferrari drivers are in trouble.

about rain driving it's also hard to say as it driver plays huge factor in the rain, and true FRs are way easier and stable but mid-engine cars and 911s since 1.6 are great in the wet as well, sure they are harder to drive but they have loads of pace in them, also wet presets as they do their job just well which is to let you survive almost any type of rain they need to be compromised loads and to make them fast setup would have to diffeer just a bit depending if track is moist or it's a complete lake :D, also track to track different cars will benefit from different factors in the rain

Actually was doing some testing yesterday wet on completly dry very aggressive setup, car was fine, then made few tweaks and it was like a rocket

Completely disagree with you. On all circuits Aston Martin, Lexus and less Bentley and Merc has huge advantage over mid-engine cars.

But what exactly “huge” means here?, I am not saying that they don’t have some advantage but I believe it’s way closer than ppl think it is
  20. Haha, you can, of course, always disagree with Malinowksi on what is fast in this SIM, and you can always disagree with Ronaldo on how to play soccer - it is just very likely you would be wrong on both occasions. ;)

I myself are a lot faster in the front engine cars in the rain compared to the mid engine ones but I am pretty sure that's just me being unable.
