I use a G27 which is mechanically almost identical to the G29 and I get good feedback except for understeer. I would wish there was a canned option available to compensate for the lack of forces for our internal gyroscope called ear. Physics wise it is correct that understeer is barely felt, so good job Kunos however strange it might sound first. Also you should keep vsync on when you use freesync, because when the framerate goes above 144 you will get tearing. Only when you play for super low latency with very high framerates (200+) one should deactivate it.

Perhaps there is a setting incorrect, maybe a technical error somewhere, but FFB is not 'broken' per default. However I see sometimes the expection of FFB is not what one would guess sometimes, i.e. like some people believing a sportscar can go around corners much faster, because of its horsepower.

Just had a blast @ Monza driving the M6 in an extended practice during the weekend and working on my setup changing one thing at a time. We have a diamond here boys :)

    @Aristotelis
Question TC and ABS can make you slower? even with the aggressive setup?

TC and ABS makes you faster. I still haven't seen an alien posting a top laptime without using them, not even in AC1.
Obviously you have to find the correct level of ABS and TC for the conditions involved. Even if you use a "perfect" setup, you need to change a bit your TC or ABS levels depending if the track is more or less rubbered, temperatures etc.

Did I understood your questions correctly?

FFB is certainly not on my top 5 list of things that need improving in ACC...

Yes thanks, it's because for example i have bad throttle control ( because my legs shake a bit sometimes ) so i tend to up the TC a little bit, and in aggressive setup the TC and ABS are lower than the safe one. So if i understood well it's depend the track more than the drivers ?

  8. For me low TC but reasonably high ABS the way to hotlap but of course it's car dependant. For example the lowest TC modes in Bentley are pretty much useless.

Of course also driver depended. Use the TC and ABS levels that suit you more, and when you want to improve, try one click less and see if you can gain something

In my impression you could certainly live a lot easier without TC in AC1. In ACC many of the cars (particularly the front-engined cars) need a lot more thought put into when and where to apply the throttle, even on lower TC settings.

And I like how the two TC settings in the Ferrari give a lot more flexibility.

Will be interesting to see how the 911s compare to AC, where the R and Cup had immense traction pretty much everywhere. Feel like they might become a lot more difficult to drive here.

Get the Thrustmaster F1 wheel if lots of buttons is a priority :)

Aren't half those buttons fake? :D
In case you're not aware, you can add 2 functions to 1 button in the controls menu.

Is there already dirty air effect in ACC? Seems like you can‘t hold your pace riding closer behind your opponents. Or is it placebo and I am thrilled too much getting into the dogfight soon???

  16. Drag and DF are factors but not massive like in fast open wheelers, so therefore the slipstream/dirty air is less noticeable.

Haven't felt the same as a previous poster about FFB on the G29. For what is essentially a toy (I hope to invest more at some point), the feedback is pretty good. I get a bit of feeling with front wheel slip and get a good difference in feel between the different tracks.

It's a bit light on standard settings but I need to use the options available to me to get it how I want. My real life car sits in sport mode most of the time due to the fact I like the heavier steering!

All good from me so far in that respect.

With correct minimum force (11) & gain (84) my G27 is as good if not better than in any other sim.

Seems like the discussion section on Steam is down for all games. I get 502 Bad Gateway wherever I try.
