26 PAGES, tldr... I see it's almost here, I have read all I can read from dev's posts, looks like no mods initially (or forever) it's okay though, I just wish we can paint the cars? or licenses don't allow that too?

 

I’ve been away for some time, but have a few questions. Sorry if these have been answered before;

Will you get to create your own driver to replace an existing driver? Or will you have to assume the persona of an existing driver?

Will ACC include any “feeder series” that tend to run on the same race weekends like Clio Cup etc?

Can you create your own team/livery? And share/see your custom livery in mp?

Will tracks like LeMans and Nurburgring Nordschlif be included considering drivers from all series participate in these events? Even if the event isn’t included by them self?

Thanks for any feedback, I’m just trying to figure out the full scope of ACC, and what to expect. I did play it at E3 and sure enough, it felt exactly like AC, it was torture running base setups ;D

 

ALSO, i wish there will be a read me file, or release notes on how to do what, like camera options, driving view, stats show etc... basically a user manual that has it all.

 

Mods aren't officially supported for ACC, that of course doesn't mean there won't be mods, it just means it's not a feature like it was with AC. My guess is it will be pretty straight forward to replace skins.

My guess on this one is that you start as an am driver and work your way into a pro team. Feeder series for Blancpain seems to be lesser known GT series. To do that I think they'd need lesser known tracks. Which I don't think is on the cards for now.

Another guess for me is that they will come eventually, Le Mans could be it's own DLC, it almost doesn't need an other content other than maybe some LMP cars or the upcoming hyper car series. Same goes for Nordschleife, I don't see why they wouldn't put it in as DLC at some point, it's bound to sell like hotcakes like it did last time.

Also needs to be understood Lemans and 24 hour Nurburgring (ADAC) are separate licenses. So the inclusion would/could only be track and we use our imagination.

I think feeder series was the wrong wording, more the other series that tour with Blancpain to fill out the race weekends events. This would enable Kunos to do a spec series, something a bit easier to get into for novices, that also doubles in immersion if you wanted to work yourself up from rich person to (poorer) pro driver

 

GT4 looks like a really good series, the old reliable Porsche cup could make a return too.

 

Agreed, GT4 is GREAT racing, I watch them all on YouTube, more than IMSA and ADAC these days oddly... All the mistakes in GT4 seem so honest, its the difference between watching pro football and armature football... the Armatures play their heart out, the pro's play with preservation in mind.
