The event uses far from optimum grip so it is a bit iffy. A gripped up track would be a fair few seconds faster

Na. You Are the one who seemed to be obsessed about a bald person from england.
I basicly just was more Bothered about things that include you being called dumb.
Which probably wouldnt happened if you wouldnt sometimes act like the Person when he called you that.
Thats the Point multiple People explained multiple Times.
the career and the ai in acc share the flaws that made pc2 a dissapointment for me.
I think its reasonable to wait with a purchase.
Especially if it means that there is more content.

any comments from the devs if we can expect an 1.0.6 beta hotfix whitin this week?

  6. anyway in career. if would be force to buy the car( maybe with realistic prices), buy for damage, buy for mechanics (important in bgts, most of them make mistakes), buy subscription to the next season, buy and sell drivers, get new sponsors. buy delivery.
    make your livery.
It would be a complete career for me.
maybe after a few seasons as a driver.
Or maybe giving you the possibility to chose.
it could be done and would be cool.
But in a far future I hope.

That's a completely different game though. I've often wondered could a company who makes a management game team up with Kunos and get the two games interacting with each other? You could play the game separately but if you owned both you could have them interact with each other, or better yet, if you knew someone who was really good at the other game you could team up with them. That way Kunos could do what they do best and let another company that's already figured all the hard stuff out deal with their side of things.

  8. honestly it is not a completely different game. it's just some math and ui.
    Anyway your idea is... great!
it reminds me the times of bspec in gt4.
**** now I'm thinking to merge motorsport manager and acc.
    it can't be done today.
But your idea is very attractive.
it could be implemented in many ways.
In the end acc provides results. json.
real-time spectator mode is similar to the one in motorsport manager.
    wow!
a relationship between these two teams could be done.
But of course it is something that you need to develop from the start of the project.
which means if something like that will ever born. it will be in acc 2 mm4.
the big limit is the hardware.

I think for the career its primarly that the ai Needs to do well what they currently dont according to the Feedback of some people, primarly overlapping. Dont Know how its with pit strategies. but if the endurance Racing Works well you allready get much more than in any other sim. Pcars fails in various areas, r3e and rf2 dont Even have one.
Crewchief - a Mod with well Done and useful Radio Messages - will make it more immsersive, combined with the Return of the Pit animations which Are well done imo.

But the Progression they mentioned in somewhere would surely Be nice and anything Else that makes the career slightly Different if you Start a new one.
the blancpain series Offers lot of potential, Thats for sure.

If it ever did happen it probably is a long way down the road. But I do think what your describing is a lot of work, and specialised work from Kunos point of view in that they don't currently do that type of thing.

There's also the issue of what their customers actually want. I like the idea and think it's cool but I know that I won't have time to take advantage of most of it, it's already hard enough to find time for ACC as it is. So from my point of view I wouldn't want to be forced to do the management stuff to play the sim side of things. They could make it so I don't have to but then they have to consider the cost and whether it's worth it to their customer base. If most of us just want to race online against people on our skill level then it's a lot of time and money for little reward.

That's why I thought if they could team up with a company who's already got a good management game people could play one or the other, or both without forcing the different groups into gameplay they don't want to do.

We do have to remind ourselves that there's only so much Kunos can get done, they only have so many man hours available to them each month. I think what your describing is great but beyond the abilities of Kunos at the moment.

  12. infact that is a very good strategy for small teams. but merging humans is that easy.
Then kunos core feature is the physics. But they demonstrated their vision is the whole experience.
I don't know. We are just bull****ting, but for sure that could bring a lot more users.
Anyway when everything will work properly they will have more time to focus on other stuff.
The list of things to fix or to implement and then fix is still very long.
The priority now is on perfecting acc. Then if they will provide seasonal dlc or focus on something new, the career will benefit any improvement so.
There is also this esport trand that is growing, but still not that much imo.
When multiplayer will work and cp will work, if that will lead to something significant(sro egts?), there will be a career-like experience in multiplayer.
    That is even cooler imo.
The ways are so many. It is better to approach 'em one by one!

I can only speak for myself, but, in my opinion, ACC has such a great potential. Sort of like AC always has been, it's a rough diamond, which needs more polishing here and there. Physics, tyre model, and FFB wise, IMO, it's already absolutely top notch, though, and features like the flag system, pit stops, and the rolling start are great. I just feel that those features need a bit of polishing, to be perfect. All in all, i can only say that a additional half a year, or a year would have made ACC a much more complete game. But, i don't blame the devs for releasing it earlier, after all, they also put themselves under a lot of pressure by their tight timeline. And, people want the game to be out yesterday, and then complain that nothing is complete nowadays. The way it goes.

Oh, Its Really just a few People who really get Offensive. Being supportive is fine, of course.

That Games Are released unifinished is Not a big Problem for the fans or People who Are informed and it isnt about blaming anyone, but the Overall success is tied to the earliest reviews and impressions, i believe.

And The singleplayer experience is probably the hook to get more people in.
And a Part from those new Players will find their way online. Where the Rating system can Filter those out who should Stay offline.

I have really enjoyed what I played so far and the way it is now.

I see @Lord Kunos liked your post, which was to be expected, because Kunos already got your money. A cheap applause in my opinion.
And I myself am of the opinion I got my worth for 25€ ea price.
But still, it hurts to see them struggling with this sim.
It could (and maybe, perhaps will) be a lot more welcomed, if Kunos could manage to let it run decently on average systems...
    Instead even NASA computers struggle.
    Damn decision to use UE...
