Having a ton of fun with this sim already, although I wish there were some more suspension / geometry adjustments for the M3, although then it wouldn't be as authentic. Hope you enjoy!

Great vids, both of you! What GPU do you have? I'm planning to upgrade my GPU in the next two weeks aiming specifically for Assetto Corsa. I have an i3 and 8gb ram (current GPU HD 5750)

wow that's insane. I might have to try this as it looks like fun, but I am so used to driving like a race car (faster obviously than drifting) that I find it hard to make myself do this

 

Hi, so I know you pros haven't got time for noobs like me, but I kind of aspire to do this. I think you have top push in the clutch, pull the handbrake and counter-steer... or a m I wrong? I would really like to know if you guys have any time for thick beginners like me

 

Depends, you can do it like that, but there's a video Niels Heusinkveld did that albeit in rF2, shows how you can do it just by using the weight transfer of the car.

 

Nothing works for me, but I don't have a steering wheel or pedals or anything. Is it time to resign myself to the fact that I need these to drift?

 

if you truly want to enjoy this sim then yes, you really, REALLY need a wheel.

 

loving the new update, and I may have found my problem too: i can't floor it on the keyboard during the start of a drift, which maybe gives a bit of a limp slide maybe... as well as the fact I can't use the clutch to initiate. But anyway, the new update is awesome (loving the Pagani Zonda R) and also congrats to the owner of this thread- you really does drift well
