1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Having a ton of fun with this sim already, although I wish there were some more suspension / geometry adjustments for the M3, although then it wouldn't be as authentic. Hope you enjoy!

    Thanks!

PS. Would love some free-camera tools, could have made a masterpiece with them. ;)

I like your style but if you enable dev apps and use the photo mode you can have access to static cameras

Great vids, both of you! What GPU do you have? I'm planning to upgrade my GPU in the next two weeks aiming specifically for Assetto Corsa. I have an i3 and 8gb ram (current GPU HD 5750)

wow that's insane. I might have to try this as it looks like fun, but I am so used to driving like a race car (faster obviously than drifting) that I find it hard to make myself do this :)

Hi, so I know you pros haven't got time for noobs like me, but I kind of aspire to do this. I think you have top push in the clutch, pull the handbrake and counter-steer... or a m I wrong? I would really like to know if you guys have any time for thick beginners like me :)

Depends, you can do it like that, but there's a video Niels Heusinkveld did that albeit in rF2, shows how you can do it just by using the weight transfer of the car.

Nothing works for me, but I don't have a steering wheel or pedals or anything. Is it time to resign myself to the fact that I need these to drift?

if you truly want to enjoy this sim then yes, you really, REALLY need a wheel.

loving the new update, and I may have found my problem too: i can't floor it on the keyboard during the start of a drift, which maybe gives a bit of a limp slide maybe... as well as the fact I can't use the clutch to initiate. But anyway, the new update is awesome (loving the Pagani Zonda R) and also congrats to the owner of this thread- you really does drift well :)
