Is the sound Audi R8 (AI) placeholder from Lambo sound? They both sound exactly same.

Not exactly the same, there are small differences while the engine in real life is exactly the same. Anyway, some work is still needed on cars not released yet as playable. :)

Is it right that I can hear the TC working through very fast on/off modulation of the throttle/engine/drivetrain?

I noticed that in the Lambo. It sounds amazing and very authentic. Please tell me I'm not imagining things :-D

Sound in ACC in 0.3 is addictive. I have the impression that we're presented a very realistic sound design without (potentially cool but) unrealistic enhancements.

One thing though - I experience sound drop-outs by maybe 250 ms sometimes. Is someone else experiencing this?

Everytime I hear that aircraft noise @ Paul Ricard I take my headphones off to check is it game or outside of my house.

Yes sound occlusion seems very nice in ACC. I was impressed and I have to congratulate the artists.

Dont forget to add the sounds nobody notices until they are gone (little rocks hitting the wheel fenders etc). Raceroom is the benchmark for this. Yesterday I saw a comparative ACC vs R3E and there is work to be done.

I hope they make the other cars louder. The sound of my own car completely overwhelms the sound from the other cars.

Yes the 488 sound is really spectacular!
I can clearly see the evolution of the original AC

I'm struggling a bit with audio (I use headphones). It is great, but I'm feeling I'm still missing something. Wondering if anyone else finds the same:
    - I find that I have to turn the ambiance, environment, other cars, etc. all WAY down (like 30 to 50). Otherwise they all just seem just too much and the engine (100) sounds kinda get lost.
    - Even at 100 engine, and 0 everything else, it just seems to me the engine is just a bit quiet or something. Maybe it's the simulation of having your head in a helmet, I don't know.
    - But I really wish there was an ability to take the engine way past 100 and really blast it. Need a Marshall stack and turn that up to 11!

As note, I find it really interesting to experiment with the sound sliders turning everything off, and one thing on at a time. Bizarre, but interesting for sure.

Try to remove the surround sound. It was my problem. And check your windows sound settings!

Nice work on the audio updates but, I'm wondering if the work is still on-going on the drive-train audio. Of course, it's linked to the physics model too but, I'm hoping there will be more dynamic interaction between the engine, gear-box and drive-train flex and interaction with bumps, curbs and rumble-strips. After watching some videos of the GT3 Jag, I'm reminded just how evident the drive-train dynamics are in these cars. I think iRacing does offer a pretty good example of how effective and immersive these details can be and they seem to have nicely linked the physical behavior with the engine audio to achieve a good result imo. With some cars, it's possible to feel slight hesitation (motion effects) during over-fueling events (running rich) which suggests that they have taken these effects beyond what I might have imagined but, I think it would be superb to have the bump effects (engine-surge from component-flex) working.

It would be cool to have high transmission whine like this one in the video

for me i think it's an important sound, and of course very immersive
