Blancpain Styled GT3 Championship series 2017 - Simracing.org.uk

So here we go gentlemen for the 2nd running of the Blancpain series featuring a mix of Sprint and Endurance rounds using the GT3 class of racing exotica for 2017. The first season was a good success with upto 25 cars in many rounds.


Provisional calendar based on the real series (subject to a decent version of Zolder materialising) :-



Points table:-

1st = 30pts
2nd = 25
3rd = 20
4th = 17

You must finish at least 50% of the race to qualify for points.

Only one car per season (subject to new releases from Kunos)

40 mins sprint rounds
60 min Endurance rounds with 1 pitstop required.
90 min Spa24 round with minimum 1 stop required.

That's a shame you can't make the Wedsnesday racing. At present we don't have any weekend races sorry but may bring back Sunday night racing sometime in the future.

A cracking first round at Brands hatch saw plenty of action and a Lamborghini win (Just like the real event!) with plenty of close racing throughout.

Round2 is a 1hr endurance round at Silverstone to mirror the real event there this weekend in the Blancpain series

Driver numbers are up to 25 now but we may be able to squeeze one or two more in.
