BUG - Lotus Evora GTC Upshifting

Upshifting isn't as smooth as in the PC version:

What I tested:
- Platform: PS4 (Guess It's the same for Xbox One as well)
- Controller: Dualshock 4
- Assists: Auto Gearbox = OFF; Auto clutch = ON; Auto blip = ON

 

Hi ZX636, great racing with a gamepad, really great racing. That sounded like the auto blip/clutch, have you tried it without them, one at a time to be on the safe side.

 

Hi Horus. First of all, these are not my videos And yes, I've tried without them but nothing changed, unfortunately.
I've also tried the same thing for the Huayra, that seems to have a similar problem and It didn't work.
By the way, is there a manual option for the clutch on console? There's no button for it in any controller layout.

 

Hi ZX, I do not own a console so am coming at it from the PC version, obviously that is not helping with different options available to us both. Kunos will look into all these issues and tweak them within a time frame allowed by the relevant manufacturers. I hope the majority of cars do not show such a discrepancy. So the best advice I can give is play the ones that work for you and keep your eyes open for the next updates.

P.S. The dev's may not post in your thread, but do not think that means they are ignoring you. It usually means they are busy with their noses to the grind stone working hard to fix things and bring you the DLC and upgrades you expect.

 

No, every car works perfectly, except for this Evora and the Pagani Huayra. I also know the devs are working hard to make this game better and I'm sure they'll do an amazing work.

 

Darn right! You should have seen AC for the first few months on PC. There are highs and lows along the way, but if you love racing closer to reality than the usual suspect racing games, then you know you are onto a winner. Keep the faith, Kunos will get you closer to the real feel of racing soon enough.
