1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Bug report: Track cutting with penalties on not implemented at Mugello

    Xbox One version - track cutting with penalties on is possible on all corners except Biondetti at Mugello with no time or slowdown penalties in Career, Special Events & quick races. It is possible to cut out most of the track without penalty.

    Thank you for you suggestion. Looking at the pc specific bug form it looks like accepted practice to report bugs as individual issues where they can be found by others easily rather than lost in a nebulous post. If the rules are different for the console version I'm sure AC support will let us know.

    I do sincerely apologise if you are having to spend an extra few seconds finding new posts you wish to read as a result. As you might understand the console game is new and we are discovering new issues all the time. These are accurate bug reports specific to the console in the correct lobby area.

    Good of you to remove the unwarranted 'forum blocking' comment too.

    No, I think one thread per bug reported is the way to go, so everybody who is experiencing the same can chime in. It gets relly confusing if there are several bugs mentioned in one thread.

    @AC Support Wouldn't it be a good thing to implement a Bug reporting subforum into the PS4 & XB1 discussion forums to clean things up a bit and seperate the Bugs from the more general discussions?

    Video to demonstrate the track cutting that is possible at Mugello with penalties on. The video was made from chase view to make the video clearer. You can clearly see the medal award icons on the opening page that show this is during a career event with penalties fixed to on. Please remember this is a specific bug report video before making any general comments.

    I have had similar in the PC version. I believe it is to stop you feeling abused by the AI and the penalty system. So if you are around the AI and go off you sometimes get away with it. Maybe the system will be tweaked and then there will be a load of people complaining that they get a penalty because an AI driver hit them. Still you are not meant to be cutting tracks so don't do it! (JOKE!) :)

    On Monza you can cut corners too. The one at the end of that big long straight. Just keep driving forward lol
    Noticed on another track also, but forgot which ones. Either silverstone or nurburg gp I think.
