Bug/Suggestion List - 72 hours in

• Frame rate issues/ performance especially in multiplayer - already confirmed by kunos
• Wheel DOR not adjusting to car
• No button mapping - handbrake on gear 4 if paddle shift car/ handbrake on right paddle if H shifting for example
• Turbo goes to 100% first time but then will only go to 90%
• No camera position adjustment - up/down/forward/back when in cockpit view
• No clutch/brake/acceleration bars in Hud
• No private online lobbies
• Issues with DLC - prestige availability
• Missing content - was told all PC dlc available at console launch
• No full control of car setups - can't always setup gears
• H shifting, doesn't always go into gear if accelerator pressed when clutch/gear change performed
• AI difficulty too high - easy sometimes unbeatable
• AI to aggressive - being spun from rear a lot, and no im not brake checking
• No leader boards
• Console users can't access pc section of forum - can't see car setup posts
• No Hud display for tyre temperature and health
• No completion of race - jump back to pits, really poor experience
• Can't go into gear before lights go out - H shifting in first doesn't show on dash but is active after lights out - paddle shifting requires first gear selection on lights out
• Completion status on special events
• Advanced wheel settings - bars to show pressing power of clutch/brake/accelerator

Amazing physics and FFB, especially drifting. Hoping for more content soon, at least to be on par with PC.

This is probably as designed. You can't adjust gear ratios on all cars in real life, even on some cars you'd suppose you could (599xx for example)

 

Sounds like just a normal miss shift, with a h shifter you need to lift off throttle on up shifts not just press the clutch. Only with a sequential box with auto clutch and auto lift can you flat shift up a gear without lifting off throttle. Its possible some cars could have a auto cut on upshifts but I dont know of any h pattern manuals in game or even real cars that have this. Its normally only a feature on some sequential gearbox cars with auto shift cut allowing for keeping throttle flat while upshifting.

 

Lack of leaderboards has been a complaint of PC racers - we have to use 3rd party RSR live timings for that - but think it's going to be a continuing request on console.

Re car setup posts, we don't use this forum for this as this is really just a support forum. For setup sharing / advice we generally go to Race Department. Not sure of the rationale why console users can't access PC section though as PC users can access console.

 

Excellent post. I really, really want to love this game but I'm struggling to.


I find the lack of any leaderboards utterly baffling. I'm not an elite racer and my main enjoyment has always come from trying to improve my times.

 

Agreed for manufacturers cars, but drift cars in particular should allow. The E30 is awesome but 2nd/3rd aren't quite right

 

When using Full HUD left HUD bar is kind a blocking the whole side window. Having a button in the wheel to cycle HUDs would work as I like to race with no HUD but need the info every now and then.

 

I think Assetto on Xbox One doesn't have just problem with framerate - it's with frame pacing. It adds weird judder to the experience and makes it inconsistent to enjoy...

 

Shift light / lights don't work on all cars. Cars that I know well and good have them IRL, and in other sims.

And, may have been a fluke, but I tried to run the BMW M3 E30 Group A at Spa, and upon launching the track I lost all FFB on a Thrustmaster TX setup. And I had to cold boot the Xbox to get it to come back. I'll try it again this evening.
