1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

И ако ти говоря на моят език, ще ме разбереш ли? ..So what are you prefere, a low skill English or my native language!? In forums rules i think we all need to type in English! If you have difficulty to understand me, just not read my comments!

I understand your point of view (i thinks the same when i see a DLC) , but they says the Button Mapping gone a be in the next patch (1.15) in this case, so the wait for it is almost in final stage, a bit more patience and we get it finally... And probably not gone a take mounts to release like incoming 1.14, so lets wait a bit more :)

A lot of confusion in what you say. About button mapping, Kunos said in the forum they will make it custom for the next update after 1.14. The console update isn't delayed because of the new dlc for PC, is delayed because Sony/Microsoft process for verifying updates takes at least two weeks, and one time the update didn't pass. So Kunos had to work again on 1.14 to fix what didn't pass the inspection. However on Steam they can release updates and patches any time without delays. The sooner they release new updates/content for PC the sooner those will also be available for console.

I would like as many options to calibrate as many things as possible and to set everything up exactly the way I like.

However, to say that AC on the PS4 is unplayable with the stock g29 pedals is simply misleading. Yes, the brake pedal is quite stiff and It does require a realistic amount of effort to get to 100%. And I say realistic because in real life even roadcars require more physical effort to lock the wheels than they do in AC on the ps4 with the g29 pedals.

I didn't say it was "unplayable" at all, it was just very uncomfortable for me personally (and others it seems) to properly threshold brake without being able to set where in the pedal's travel a lock up will occur. Also, nope, my very ordinary irl car doesn't need anything like the amount of pressure to lock up that the g29 did with that block of very solid rubber in the way of where, uniquely among console sims, AC had decided that 100% point should be, i.e right at the very end of the pedals available travel. Ideally, I would like to be able to set 100% a little ways beyond where that rubber block kicks in which would allow me to threshold brake with a certain amount of "feel" until a lock up occurs rather than manically stamping on it for dear life, almost tipping myself backward out of my chair and/or pulling the steering wheel off the desk for just a bit more leverage at every serious corner and hoping it'll all stop. I once had a MK1 escort that made me feel that way about braking but that's another story and I don't think a pretend 458 should.

Am aware that non servo assisted race car brakes can be extremely heavy irl (though I doubt many modern road cars require there customers to be at a certain level of fitness to be able to effectively brake in an emergency) but driving a console sim, no matter how good, isn't "real life" and I personally don't want to have to be even remotely race driver fit to "drive" a flipping ps4. I would just like to be able to set things, as we all do already for the ffb, to where the individual (me, in this case) is comfortable and can avoid aggravating aches and pains gathered over the years from doing unavoidable irl things.

Edit: just noticed it wasn't me you were referring to that implied that the game was "basically impossible" to play but my good friend @BobTheDog ;) who I completely concur with anyway. Apologies for that.

No problem. I agree that the option to calibrate should be there, although for me personally there is no need to change anything.

I think the difference is that I have a playseat kind of arrangement and you play at your desk. So whereas I have a lot of support and leverage, you might not have that due to sitting higher compared to where the pedals are. Plus there could be difference in terms of how strong my legs are compared to yours. But really, I feel that with the right seating position the brake pedal isn't really that hard to get 100% input with.

I have to admit deglecting AC for some considerable time, relying on PCars and DirtRally VR to entertain my driving need. Whilst I have returned regularly to the forums to check news on this update, I always turned away and thought oh well...perhaps tomorrow.

This news has really got me excited to play AC again and although Kunos have not provided a release schedule yet, the content is pretty awesome.

I spread the word about how good AC is with the group I regularly race with in PCars but unfortunately they have either left not to return, or read too many negative points about lack of essential features...private lobbies, that they will never bother and will wait for PCars 2.

It is a real shame, certainly for me and I would think for the majority here would agree, AC has the best driving physics out of any racer on console.

Thank you Kunos...looking forward to the release of this update.

who ever you have quoted saying AC2 will get here by the time patch 1.15 is with us has it all wrong, IMO AC2 arrives just after patch 1.90 (2.00) or something like. a long way to go yet i hope.

  10. The version number of AC will have nothing to do with AC2.

This was a fairly good post of yours, language-wise. But many other posts from you are so poor that it's hard to even understand their meaning. Flawed grammar is one thing but you misspell many words so badly when it would be easy to just look them up in an online dictionary.

You're responsible for making yourself understood if you want answers.

  20. A lot of confusion? Only because I stopped visiting the forum every day. So it's not a wonder that missed the post where they say that button mapping would be part of a update that's maybe months away.
That's not the main issue I had and even not that PC got the dlc months earlier. It's simply that I fear that the existing bug will be ignored because I read no single letter about specific bug fixing. Everytime when someone asks a specific questions like aero bugs in the both F1 cars and F138 performance difference between PC and console. They hadn't fixed the main game and bring dlc with bugs and they see no need to fix them since 4 months.
So when I see the past delays whe can count with 1.15 in august.
So it's no confusion in my posts it's simply frustrating..Nothing more and nothing less.
It's great that kunos bring the game to console. But 9 months after release it's very hard to accept that basic gamefeatures are still missing.
