1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory.
  2. FOR ASSETTO CORSA COMPETIZIONE: If you report issues with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder!
  3. If your game executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, then run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether.

Current state of pit stops in SP: can someone please clarify?

    I may have missed this in the update logs but are pitstops now implemented in SP for the AI? If so, is it possible to enforce pit stops or do we still have to fiddle with workarounds like doubling everyone's fuel consumption rate? I am asking because there are folks on the Steam AC forums who are claiming that pit stops now work in SP but I think most of us would agree that this is not a valid claim unless we can enforce them for an entire face field without cheating the fuel consumption. Thanks.

    Well, pit stops offline and for the AI are a thing, yes. But you cannot make pit stop rules like pit stop time windows, mandatory pitstops, tyre allocations or restrictions to refueling, etc. And without a qualifying run for example the AI appears to have difficulties deciding over its fuel amount (natural as it needs minimum two laps to get average fuel consumption/lap and a definite lap count to decide over that) and then difficulties to actually pit and not get stranded somewhere and DNF, with qualifying that doesn't seem to be an issue (though I have to confirm with doing some more long races and it might vary from car to car). I'm also not sure what the AI does about tyre wear and if it pits for tyres, there doesn't seem to be a way to see the state of tyres of AI cars. More time-consuming testing required to get a clear picture but in general I'd say it's still quite WIP.
