Drift dream pack

Hello' Just wondering would it be possible we will get an official drift pack with drifting cars and a new official downhill drift track? I would really like this, thanks.

 

No simply because the large majority of people are not drifters. I guess it would make sense if a drift variant of a car came but a drift only dlc would annoy a lot of people. besides it looks like pikes peak is coming and a much of nippon steel cars so they should cater for the drifters.

 

Aren't special drift cars customized/tuned a lot differently than their stock car? For me, that's what modding is for, and since AC supports it, use modded drift cars from others or if you know yourself how to make one. There are so many good special drift tracks and downhills, you don't need these officially made.

 

Assetto Corsa is a racing simulator, not a drifting simulator.

 

Last time I checked we have an official track and cars for drifting so what on earth are you talking about? Seems to me that AC is actually both racing and drifting sim.

Personally I suck in drifting and am not very interested about it. But in any case I don't think it would be smart to release a drift only dream pack. More tracks and cars as a part of dream pack would be ok imo.

 

If it would not be overtuned visually... +1 from me.

Drift cars are plenty fun for everything, including racing... Some of the "D" versions of current stock cars are superb to race in, but nobody drives them because "drift cars".
Heck... i bet if we retag current D cars to "R", "GT" or "w/e" people would probably start driving/racing them. New "drift" cars would be great for racing too.

As for AC being "racing" sim out of 95cars/versions 32 of them are racecars, thats below 1/3 ... hint: It's a driving sim, and dlc's had race, hyper, road and vintage cars (heck we will probably get WRC cars too)... can't see why we could not have some dedicated drift machines as well.

 

For drifting, there is just the settings of the chassis that changes on the cars ... Assetto Corsa can simulate everything, when settings for dicipline are real.
Opens your mind to some other automotive disciplines ...

 

why did they even show drift? its ike we were ***ked up! they shoud tell they wont do anything about it! i think drfting is possible cos luck during development! :/
