1. Version 0.1.3 of Assetto Corsa EVO is now live. This includes: -- fixed Settings-Controls UI page issue preventing correct visualization for bound controls icons -- added axis visualization into the Settings-Controls UI page -- Car customization is now enabled in offline mode (thumbnails remain in original colours). This allows users to customize their cars for showroom visualization and single player game modes // Car customizations are currently reset when quitting the game. Full online mode for all will be enabled very soon. The team is now focusing on additional fixes and the introduction of online mode and its related features. Thank you for your participation in the Early Access Program.
  2. If you experience an issue while starting up AC EVO, make sure your Steam installation folder and the user/Documents/ACE folder are set as exceptions in your Antivirus software and Windows protection. Please also try to delete the user/Documents/ACE folder and try again. Check for OneDrive redirecting or blocking access to the ACE folder.
  3. Thank you for participating in the Early Access programme! If you experience an issue, please open a new thread in the appropriate AC EVO subforum and please make sure you ALWAYS attach the log.txt file from the user/Documents/ACE/ folder in your report. If you experience a crash, please make sure to zip and attach the whole "crashdumps" folder from the same location.

  3. It's been a while for anyone to answer on this topic but I have the same issue. I will try to move the game to an SSD. Didi you find any other solution?
    Thanks in advance

I know this post is mighty old but for anyone that gets here with the same issue:
    1. Go to your ACC saved games folder which should be at ...\Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione\Savegames
    2. That folder will contain a bunch of json files. You should see groups of them with the same date/time stamp. Find the group for the saved game that is causing the issue (easy way is to save it so it has the latest timestamp).
    3. One of the json files in the group will be *huge*. First, make a backup copy of the file then edit it with a regular text editor like Notepad++.
    4. There will be a section called "events" that is an array (denoted by the surrounding []).
    5. There will be a *lot* of duplicate entries for the track that you are using. Delete all but one of them; doesn't seem to matter which one is left once you're done.
    6. Save the file and try it out. It should load instantly again. If you've hosed the format, restore the backup that you made and try again.

Basically, it seems that there is a bug where they are saving duplicates in that array instead of replacing. It shouldn't even be an array. Oh well, at least we can fix it.
