1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    The combination of early access only releasing one car per build plus the limited number of cars means that we’ve probably all got quite a lot of seat time in all of the cars so far. Despite them all being homologated to GT3, I’ve been amazed by how different they feel to drive and it’s been difficult to pick a favorite.

    I’m not quickest in the Jag, but I think that right now it’s my favorite. It sounds great (I can hot lap it for hours because of that) and it feels alive. So that got me to wondering - what’s your favorite to drive?

    I gotta say, the 488 is my favorite. It sounds the worst, by far (except for the awesome backfires on decel) but it's overall combination of handling and stability let me stay consistent over a long stint. BMW is a close second but the way it reacts over kerbs really bugs me so I gotta mark it down a bit.

    On a side note, Warth0g, I agree with you on the Jag's exhaust. The noise that car makes is just beautiful

    Lambo fan here.. But tbh spent more time in game driving other cars then Lambo. Because all cars are different and i love it. Cant wait to try Nismo

    Cant Cant seem to drive anything but the Bentley competitively....which suits me fine cause I coincidently happen to like the handling of it the best :)

    With Lambo and ferrari I'm slower 2-3 seconds compared to bmw. Like ferrari handling and brakes but his acceleration is not that good compared to bmw.

    I haven't had the chance to try out the Audi, Mercedes or Porsche yet; hard to say, but I do prefer the BMW over the other released cars.

    The BMW acceleration is better than the Lambo or 488, but these two are more agile and the chassis is more responsive to the throttle and steering.

    Overall any car can be as competitive as any other. I saw that online, either the Lambo vs BMW or 488 vs BMW, is it at Zolder, Hungaroring or Nurburgring.

    With the current offerings definitely the Ferrari, but generally my favourite of the "current" GT3s is the McLaren 650S, so of course I'm looking very much forward to that one, and to the 720s for the 2019 Season update.

    BMW feels best for me. It feels very stable during high speed and probably has the best acceleration out of the bunch, but you do have to brake quite early compared to a Ferarri or Lambo.

    No surprise to see the Bentley bottom of this list. I just cannot get along with this car either. Really hard to pick between the others as they all offer something, but the Lambo just gets my pulse racing a bit more.

    I can't wait for the Aston Martin in the full release. For now the 488 and BMW are my favorites. and looking forward to the Nismo and AMG.

    I just did a test with all cars at Hungaroring, (about 7 laps/car) and even Ferrari wasn't fastest, I liked it most.

    I like precision and handling with ferrari but still I'm the fastest with m6. Also with m6 you can attack kerbs and corners more aggressively. For now I think bmw is the best car for now

    For now the Lambo. Waiting for the Porche and of course the 720 though.

    Otherwise i'd say Bentley for driving pleasure.
