  2. If you experience an issue while starting up AC EVO make sure your Steam installation folder and the user/Save Games/ACE folder are set as exceptions in your Antivirus software and Windows protection and/or Firewall settings. Delete the user/Saved Games/ACE folder and try again.
  3. Thank you for participating in the Early Access programme! If you experience an issue, please open a new thread in the appropriate AC EVO subforum and please make sure you ALWAYS attach the log.txt file from the user/Saved Games/ACE/ folder in your report. If you experience a crash, please make sure to zip and attach the whole "crashdumps" folder from the same location.

Feedback: Strong Desire for Future Car Pack DLCs

I am writing to share my feedback and express my profound appreciation for Assetto Corsa Competizione. The physics mechanics, force feedback accuracy, and overall driving simulation experience remain completely unparalleled compared to other racing titles currently on the market.

Because the core simulation is incredibly refined, my main suggestion is to request the continued development and release of new car pack DLCs. Many dedicated sim racers in the community feel exactly the same way. We want to experience more modern GT vehicles and updated grids within this specific, highly polished engine.

Please know that there is a strong willingness among players to support further development through paid DLCs. The current ecosystem you have built is outstanding, and we hope to see it expand with more vehicle variations.

Thank you for your continuous hard work and for delivering a top-tier racing simulator.

    Best regards,
    Kevin

As much as I like and appreciate the new EVO engine, I still prefer the dedicated racing environment that ACC offers. I’d love to see new cars and tracks added to ACC, but I’d also like to see the core game updated to the current tech.

  4. any new piece of content delivered for acc will get much more attention and excitement from the community than the whole next years of development for ac evo, i am ready to bet it would be the case

Join the ranks of ACC fans that feel development was halted much too early in order for KS to jump with both feet into EVO, only to see them bellyflop.

I feel at this point they could take a year or more off from development of EVO to focus on reigniting ACC, and the vast majority of sim racers would open their wallets and rejoice. Many EVO fans claim the physics and FFB are better, but if KS were to start working on ACC again, there's no reason physics and FFB couldn't be even more improved than EVO currently is.

The biggest limitation is most likely the massive cost of licensing SRO GT2/GT3/GT4 series tracks and cars that are not already in ACC. KS/505 must be hemorrhaging money at this point as all the EVO content so far has essentially been free, and a Steam rating of Mixed isn't going to get many more people purchasing.

It's great you all like ACC, but you suggest that you'd like to see ACC updated with Evo's tech. That would firstly be a big piece of work and secondly would require that they develop Evo's tech anyway.

Thus each of your posts is mutually exclusive with the others and what you've collectively asked for can't be done. Except perhaps the first that simply asks for DLC

Updating ACC to EVO's tech could never happen, KS are busy learning to develop EVO's tech as it is. However ACC's development could easily continue on its own if they had the staff and the desire.

The physics and graphics engines still have life left in them, ACC's development was certainly not maxed out before they dumped it for the New Hotness they thought EVO would become. Graphically I've made my ACC look infinitely better simply using UUU. Plenty of issues could be fixed and features added along with DLC if KS ever decided to return to ACC.

DLC and improvements could have continued with ACC, plenty would buy further DLC I suspect. There are plenty of SRO visited tracks that haven’t been included. ACC is still my pickup driving sim, especially with the lack of head tracking and general clunky nature of ACE so far.
