Generic FFB Options Petition (e.g Min Force)

This might work it might not. I thought it may help if all the interest in getting the consoles the same FFB tuning options as the PC were collated in one place.

Minimum Force and Per Car FFB in the Tuning Screen are examples of two of these options that would be a massive help in fine tuning the already brilliant FFB and getting it dialed in better for all cars.

So if anybody else besides me is interested in this possibility I thought it would be better to log it here so Kunos can see it really is (hopefully) wanted.

This is not a moaning thread. This is purely trying to be a log of the interest in this suggestion.

    Thanks

Yes, definitely. Having the option to set per car FFB in the tuning screen would be a welcome addition for sure!!

Hopefully it can be implemented without too much difficulty.

Yes! should be a good implementation!
Per car FFB gain & min. force FFB are two options in the PC version already,so don't should be difficult to port them in console version i supose.

A most definite YES from me !
I'd also like to see some form of calibration suite to fine tune the deadzone etc for the different types of wheel and pedal sets that people are using.

The straight line lack of wheel weight in some cars is a new thing that started after the last update and I don't like it much either. If Min Force would help calibrate it better, sure it would be an awesome addition.

per car ffb is really important and so is minforce. You need a clipping meter too so you easily know if you need to turn ffb down.

100% support this, I'd love a calibration tool for our wheels and pedals too.

Great to see others with the same thoughts. Hopefully we can get more and more. Min force would be top of my list for sure, the driving would be near perfect with that option.

Possibly a losing battle but I'm just trying to keep this thread alive.

I just don't see it arriving unless it is seen as a requested feature.

This thread has to be kept always on the first page, so it can be easily visualized and attract the attention it needs. By the way, I have just started a ticket with 505 games, explaining this newfound issue with the FFB and giving them a link to this thread. I still haven't got an answer, but as soon as I have it, I'll let you know if I succeed having any news.

I've just had an answer from them, but to me it just sounds a little evasive. At least she infers the problem 'must' be of their awareness. Here it goes a copy/paste of her answer:

"Thanks for reaching out to us at 505 Games Customer Support! I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. Have you tried updating the firmware on your device? I know this has solved other issues for players. By the looks of that forum, though, the development team are definitely aware :)
