For USB shifter users (paddles + sequential shifter question)

Hi friends.

Today I got my new stand alone shifter, and I'd like to know if it's possible to assign the sequential shifting for two controllers at the same time (G27 paddels and the USB sequential shifter).

Only if you use some key emulation program (e.g. Joy2Key) and let both controllers emulate the same keys.

 

Or have two separate profiles.

I have used Xpadder to assign RIGHT PADDLE and USB SHIFT UP to "L" key, and LEFT PADDLE and USB SHIFT DOWN to "O" key, but I don't know how to assign "L" and "O" keys to shift up and shift down in wheel controls → shifter.

 

iirc, there is a checkbox that says "combine keyboard input" or something like that.
Try that and see if it works then.

 

For fanatec users this can be done in the fanatec properties. The checkbox that says map sequential to your paddles etc..

Would be very nice and easy to add in-game option for alternative 'shift up & down' button mapping, just like rF2 has. That way you can map multiple joystick inputs for same purpose. I hope they would add this feature in-game.
