1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

[FORUM SUGGESTION] A "General Discussion" Section

    Heyo o/

    So I was kind of getting a little confused to why we only have a small section called "Chit Chat"...
    There's modding, and then there's bug reporting - Maybe the community would do good with an actual general discuission section.. Here you could have, guides/tutorials - General chat (chit chat) - Off Topic - Videos & screens... And so on..

    This would setup the forum as a database for more knowledge about the actual driving instead of just modding..

    What do you think?

    I'm sure there will be general discussion section when the game is released. I believe the main purpose for this forum is support and bug hunting. Chit chat section is only to keep inevitable off topic/general chat in one place.

    Yeah, Chit Chat section works as General Discussion for now.

    PS. Let Kunos work on the sim now and mess with the forum when 1.0 is out. :)

    Lol... It's not really much work to do it.. Plus it will proberly benefit them doing it sooner rather than later.. Idk, the chit chat just seems very insufficient.

    When all joined before Version 0.1 there was only bugreport section and modding section. Nothing more.
    Kunos added much later this Chitchat to reduce wrong topic in wrong section..

    It's not matter of work but the fact that for Kunos this forum is only for support and bugs reporting. Chitchat is something extra for now and IMO it's well enough. And honestly I fail to see the benefits of having general discussion instead of the chitchat we have now as they are pretty much the same thing in my eyes.

    Better sorting in a proper section = Better and easier access to knowledge :) Anyways, not too important, was just wondoring...

    So where do I go to find peoples lap times and so on with specific combos? - RSR? Rivalri?

    Yeah didn't mean to shoot you down I just happened to know the state and purpose of the forum by reading some posts somewhere here from the devs.

    I believe RSR is the app you're looking for.

    I've already got RSR installed.. Though I'm using rivalry most of the time..

    I just need to find a place for referance so I can improve my own laps.. It's a bit difficult to be looking at laptimes that's 4 seconds faster than my own and not knowing what to do differently :/

    Iirc someone tried to start a thread where aliens and really fast drivers could post videos of their laps but it didn't catch up. Maybe you could try to revive the idea/thread.
