1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hi Guys,
Can I just ask a small question regarding adjusting the Brake Bias on the G29 and what exactly what does it do in regards to the car your driving? I'm sure someone would say just google it but I would rather get the info from you guys who use the G29 and have good knowledge in what it does. Just had a drive in the Alpha 155 round Nordschleife and what a drive that was.

Brake balance isn't about the wheel/pedals you use, but how you set up the car.

If the setup says 58% it means that the front brakes are set 58% and the rear wheels to 42%.

So if your front wheel lock first, set the Bias back (lower value in setup), if the rears lock first or do so on downshifting, then push the Bias towards the front (higher value).
The goal is to set the bias as much as possible to the rear, without causing instability by rear wheels locking (while downshifting).

This is nothing G29 specific, or are you talking about something else?

    Hi,
Thanks for that. Since the last update when you are now able to adjust the Brake Bais on the +/- button, I just wanted to know what happens and what does it do, so if I press the PLUS button and again same for the MINUS button. For example if I go into lets say the Maserati Granturismo and I press the PLUS it will give me a reading of 65.50% and if I press MINUS this will reduce to 65% with only a .50% difference, so I just would like to know what this doing. And do I need to alter any setting in the car setup prior to the race etc etc

If you hit plus (65% ->65.5%) it means the front wheels brake more, the rears less.
If you hit minus (65.5% ->65%)it means the front wheels brake less, the rears more.

Great, So would it be correct with only a small difference between the front and rear ?

It's highly dependend on the car and a bit on your preference.

A 55-45 balance may work in an open-wheeler with high downforce, but a front-engined car with low downforce should rather be on a higher front-percentage.

Just drive a bit and keep pushing the bias more to the rear, you'll feel yourself at what point the rear gets instable on braking. At that point push it towards the front until the cars is stable (enough) and keep this setting.
