1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Hands up anyone here from RSC or bhms.??

    Hey guys. :)

Was just thinking the other day...
It would be nice to remember the old rsc and bhms members and of the forums of the bygone days.

I mean anyone's welcome to talk and reminisce...
but i was thinking more of just add your name and any modding news you remember hearing that you got quite excited about.

    eg(in no particular order).
    WSGT - Arnold Wong :D
Porsche carrera cup mod team :D
Aris (kunos dev' top honcho) - power And Glory mod aka P&G mod :D i would like that for AC. ;) :D
    DutchDevil :D
    zelimper :D
    Rictus Grin :D

I feel terrible, there's so many more that i should mention for their awesome work.
But i need to leave some for you guys.

Saying that... i'm sure a few guys here that i recognise,
will come in and rhyme off so many of the great modders that they knew/worked with.

In both of these forums, i learnt so much and really appreciated and enjoyed my time there.
    To all those guys... :)

RSC was my first simracing forum I visited regularly. Can't remember my username anymore though, or anything else what was going on there. Only exception being the long wait of the WSGT mod and Arnold Wong being the author of the mod. Iirc it was worth the wait though.

Being GPL-player (still active today), I was hanging around RSC for years (GPL was THE biggest section of that forum), though I was user rather than creator of GPL content (and there was sh..tton of content available over there). Goog times, good times... Thanks God SRMZ picked up the pieces when RSC was nuked.

A lot of find memories of RSC in particular - BHMS I used more like a download site, but it was an essential service and I'm very grateful.

Yep. RSC for me. Admin I think at some point. It is where ARSE first started out. :)

I was around at RSC where I used to use the name Johnny X. Used to race in the RSC league where @Mitja Bonca would turn up occasionally and destroy us all. I ended up moving to ARSE (pommie git and proud @norbs) as W00dsy and one or two of the GPL movie making crew ended up there (Kev Clark and Durbster). I ended up doing the Thundercar preview movie and did the release video for Montjuic as well after W00dsy really helped me out using editing software.

I vaguely remember a few folks and stuff like the long running debacle that was the West Brothers :D.

It's great that some of the "old timers" are still knocking out the laps, I even think that @Pete Gaimari is still behind the wheel of his beloved Lotus 49. It's incredible that GPL keeps going and the 55 mod has recently been released... still waiting for Jim Pearson to finish his IOM though.
