Help me find a car to main

Hi guys,

which GT3 car would you suggest following these criteria if there is one:

1) good/ok top speed and capable of late braking
2) easy on the tires
3) driveable in the wet (tc options)
4) does not easily unsettle when driving over high kerbs
5) Optional: low fuel usage


I think I don't really care about general cornering ability and stability (except for manageable in the wet) because I think I can drive around that if above criteria are met.

 

M4,Bentley,McLaren,AstonV8, thus every Car has it very own character find out what you like, wich car suits you best....

 

Spend a bit of time going through it.

Pick a track you enjoy and do 10 laps in every car on the preset agg setup.

Then narrow it down to cars you enjoyed driving, were fastest/consistent with etc.

 

Stay away from Porsche Pendulums

Although, I like them.

 

You could almost pick any car at random bar maybe the Porsche. In the real world you probably wouldn't get a choice, you'd take whatever job you could get and just learn to live with it. Some cars have quirks you have to work around but that shouldn't be seen as a negative.
You could just spend a week or two driving one car. I found the McLaren, Aston and BMW easy to drive. I spent a lot of time with the Ferrari and getting used to it's quirks helped me really appreciate those other cars.

There's no need to make things ideal for yourself. Pick a car and stick to it through thick and thin for a few weeks, you won't loose out by learning to make it work for you.

 

I'm with everyone else here. Try them all for a few races (or in SP), even the Porsche. The Porsche can be frustrating (mistakes are massively exacerbated, but if you don't mess up its very fast), but really there are few bad choices other than the older cars (Reiter R-EX, Jaguar), and even those aren't that bad but unless you're an Alien you won't be competitive with them. You'll only know what works for your driving style by feeling it.

 

Just drive the one you think is prettier.
