1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hi there everyone.

    Just joined the forums after having the game for quite a while and struggling with using the k/b :D

    Just ordered my Logitech G27 which should be here in a couple days

    Look forward to getting into some serious racing, and racing against you guys in the MP when it comes out

    Game looks great, cant wait to make the transition from console racing to PC racing

    You will LOVE the wheel when you get it,..be sure to read the section on Logitech wheels and set yours up accordingly

    I remember many many years ago when I went from console racing with a controller to PC SIM racing and a FFB wheel and what struck me almost instantly was I was no longer THINKING about the controller,
    I was just driving, using my years behind the wheel in a real car and just having fun.

    It's also much more precise, so you'll drop lots of seconds from all tracks, but it may take a few days to get used to the difference, give yourself plenty of time to adapt.

    We'll see you out there when they release MP (some day :p )

    As a new G27 owner myself, I can't say enough nice things about it.
    I had a cheap Thrustmaster, which was fine for a while and to get a bit of a taste of racing.
    I'm no-one special behind a SIM wheel, even if i though I was.
    I soon realized, I was averaging about 20 seconds off WR pace with my Thrustmaster..
    I thought well, some of that is lack of set up knowledge. Some would be my lack of racing skillz.
    But then, with the G27 set up correctly I was soon knocking 5-10 seconds off my original lap times and it feels like I'm really part of the car. Even getting physically puffed out from the energy needed (and sheer excitement) to drive on the edge. And you can feel the edge. Unlike with no-force-feedback.

    So I'm now about 10 seconds off WR pace, I've still got some learning to do. But I know it's now down to set up and skills. Practice practice practice..

    See you on the black stuff...
    I break pretty late, so I'm sorry for any panel damage in the future...

    Good move Commander_Z! I hope you have many years of fun racing ahead. I recall switching to G25 which totally transformed my sim racing experience (i.e. LFS). Take your time setting it up properly and get to know it. With some practice it should feel nothing but natural. Welcome to the PC department :D!

    The last racing game i played was F1 2013, before that I did the co-op championship online in F1 2011/2012. the MP online in these games was horrendous, bunch of idiots everywhere
    But last proper car racing was Forza 4, loved that game/series

    All on Xbox 360
