1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Thats right but on real haldex cars, I doubt you'll see the front wheel spinning like that before the rear starts getting power. On mine I cant get the front tires to spin much before the rear kicks in.

I read a little about Haldex. I think we have Haldex V ? or newer. So its active Haldex system. With full throttle before launch, i think electronics must turn on AWD to prevent front wheels spining so much at start. Even with non-active old Haldex front wheels make around only quarter turn or so before AWD is turned on. In AC i can burnout several meters with FWD (default setup, optimum grip, track temp ~7C)

    Sorry for my english

P.S. Yes its very different car, but use Haldex too
Its looks like Haldex in AC don't work so fast how must to be. Or i'm wrong ?
And both car with default setup (AC settings - factory), this mean TC is ON

Well it's a picture so we don't really know how much the wheels spun, just that they spun some.

Real world example, fronts start spinning first and are spinning faster even after the rears kick in. Not to the extent that digitizer is showing from the game, but not too far off either.

Eh, it's a game, not everything is going to be perfect. Long story short, buy a Subaru. :D

As the video is slowed down by x6, I'm guessing the wheel only slips for about half a second which doesn't seem like a long time to me. The extremely low temp might affect things too.

Ok, thanks, i don’t worry any more about this in game :) Looks like its how should be

  12. That doesn't look too good. You can't feel the front spinning even with 1st Gen Haldex.

The rears taking so long to spin up from standstill could be an issue caused by low-speed physics. Try by dropping the clutch in first gear while going reverse on a low friction surface. You'll see the tyres spin up much more like IRL. While transitioning from going backwards to going forwards, at very low speeds the rear tyres stop spinning, just to spin back up again once you gain a few kphs. Or you can try dropping the clutch in first while going like at least 10 kph or so forward. Both front and rear tyres will spin up almost simultaneously like they should.

I did the test while reversing at higher speeds, like above 40 kph. Not sure why it doesn't spin up the rear at 20 kph like you tried.

I guess low-speed physics might only be part of the reason for this. The other being that this is as close as it gets to simulating Haldex with the AWD code in AC.

Little did I know that I would come to this thread and learn a heck of a lot. Had never heard of the Haldex system before...that's super interesting how that works.

TC also turns off below a fixed speed, maybe AWD transfer functions too. In RL it's because the wheel speed sensors can't say anything until the wheel's turned far enough (eg. if the wheel sends a signal once per rotation, it'll take a few revolutions to calculate actual speed). Or if the difference calculation is mechanical, it's more likely to respond to difference in speed than a ratio - so it might calculate that at 10km/h difference it should lock the diff.

    Thread revival.

Has anyone messed around with fine tuning or adjusting the behavior of this. Asking for the sake of the GR yaris and GR corolla which are being simulated rather poorly as of recent.
