1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

How to analyze a drivers overall 'Ranking'. Where do I stand?

I've been wanting to know where I would stand if there was an 'overall' ranking system like FIS World Cup. (prior to future updates that have online leader posts) I'm just speculating whether I may qualify and be able to compete in the top servers when matchmaking goes live.
This opens the questions of whether I would want to be at the top of class "B" or at the middle/bottom of class "A". I think midway into class A might be the most fun and challenging but class B might give the best chance for W's.
Since the reset the other day (1.1.2) I have done the three comps and have achieved these times:
    1 lap run= P-286 (3.33sec from 1st.)
    8 min. run= P-134 (07:49:680 -97.893 from 1st)
    35 min run= P-68 (35:55:191 -31.167 from 1st.)

It would be great If a few people posted their positions and their thoughts on where they stand.

I clearly do better in longer stints and that's encouraging to me, altho I'm sure fewer drivers have completed the 35 min. run than did the hotlap. I think 68/500 would be good in long stent, but 68/3000 would be great!

In AC, which was the only sim I raced the last few years, I could get some wins when the server conditions were right, even against faster cars, and so far it seems like my pace is stacking up about the same here in ACC.

I didn't do any private championships in AC but I'm really looking forward to doing so now. I would love to see dedicated championships for regions/countries with World Cup events for top drivers from around the world.

    Thanks
    Nikki Ixx

Currently it's very easy to get a <100 ranking for hotstint as well as for 35 mins. nightly race.

I guess most of the people is just hotlapping and ignoring other events.
So i don't think these numbers are really meaningful at the moment.

Your PC ranking during the event you should tell you which percentile you're in. From that you should be able to figure out how many people have set times. Though in case of the 35 min hotstint, many people have not done the full run and only their partial results are in there (like if they quit after 12 laps).
