1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Edit: apologies for the spoiler, I was not using my head when I wrote this..

    Unexpected and emotional for an Italian like me, Vettel brings the Ferrari back on top. Listening to the German + Italian anthem combo after many years, I am thinking of Schumacher and the history he wrote. Hope he watched the race too and he said "forza!"

    Missing Schumacher as well, he defined the pace of the formula one event show. Without him, and with all that madness of regulations there is, its no longer the same, and not even a German Grand Prix this year, Formula One is not the same anymore, but is dying a slow death, or better: a shift to Asia and the demands of that audience there, it seems. Vettel however is good enough to no longer be compared with Schumacher. He is no Schumi 2.0 Vettel is Vettel. That recognition he has deserved, I think.

    Haven't watched a F1 race since years. Have no intention to do so in the future.

    Was gutted they replaced schumi with lewis . Schumi was beating rosberg all the time , hed have won another championship if he was their last year ! Keep fighting michael.

    Merc's strategy was horrendous, smacks of over confidence.

    Vettel still has some way to go to erase the memories of last year. I hope we see a Merc Ferrari battle for the championship this year.

    I've literally seen the original title 5 min before watching the race... "thanks" for that OP. Some people are so selfish. :rolleyes:

    Next time I'll have to stay away from AC forums the entire race day until I actually get to see the race myself.

    So you're gonna schedule my watching program now?

    I watch when I want and when I can, that doesn't mean it's nice to make a topic right after the race thinking everybody else in the world watched it at the same time. How about you stop being selfish and develop some common sense.

    Have you heard about movie spoilers? Do those count as live too? A spoiler is a spoiler simple as that and the worst part is that the title itself was a spoiler, so it was impossible not to see it.

    I watch the early morning races when I get up on a Sunday morning, as I suspect many others do. I did stupidly come in here 2/3 of the way through the race...

    Not posting the winners name or team in the thread title isn't too much to ask is it? Malaysia F1 would have done.

    Just saying, sports are meant to be watched live, if you are a fan, you will find a way to watch it live. I was out on Saturday night, and then then with the summer time clock, i slept like less then 4 hours, but i still got up, cause guess what, it's awesome to watch it as it happens no?
    But if you don't it's just ludicrous to avoid internet and TV the whole day (or days) and hate anyone who 'spoiled it' for you.

    Yeah that would be ideal, but not possible for everyone for various reasons.

    I don't like the live transmission in my country, I prefer SkySports or BBC Sport, but I cant get those live so I watch the recording after. I also like the recording because I can pause any time I want. This was actually the 1st F1 spoiler for me in the last 2-3 years if I think about it, so it works for me pretty good, unless someone makes the spoiler as a forum topic title... That's the worst kind.

    I have nothing against topics with the "warning spoiler" in their topic's title, because I can easily avoid those, but the likes of this I can't.

    Damn guys I screwed up, I do myself watch reruns (I live in China, quite often no live F1 on tv). After such a long time without a win for Ferrari, and in such a surprising fashion AND with a German driving it.. and how the hell to change a thread title? Having said that, I kind of hope I make more of these mistakes this year.. joking.

    A suggestion: if you want to watch some exciting racing to compensate, MotoGP Qatar...
