1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

yes, and I rather find this instructive. It not about PP but internal graphic settings. It was a long time playing with skybox reflection around 3.5 to 8. Never found a quite balance. The more you add, the more 'white' the car bonets or doors will be, not in a good way. Great for photos but not so sure about look and feel. Some car that aren't suppose to reflect that much receive too much reflections. So there's no ideal, it more bound to the car occlusions and matte layer.

Yeah myself after some tries revert back to preatty stock 3.5 value...

Cool - yeah will be good to understand the yebis settings that we can manipulate. I have been messing about most of the afternoon with my settings but only really changing the glare and colours. Also adjust the DoF which although it doesnt work like a camera is useful to allow a more open DoF.

Regarding the ini files inside the game, i didnt know about the skybox reflection until i saw you post today, i do agree with @Carbon14 that anymore than 3.5 is a bit too much. I am using 3.5 which gives the cars a nice reflection without being over the top imo and you can neuter the reflections by adding a bit of contrast into the PP settings

@mashing, looks cool but too much skybox, loses realism being that reflective I think, will try out your pp set and other settings though, cheers

In fact it helps a lot wih car like zonda that have matte surface to make them reflect a little more...

That doesn't make sense. Why making matte surface reflective?

I should have stayed away from commenting in this thread.

Been playing with latest files from Andrea (from his sig), gotta say pretty awesome, still not sure what is best, Kunos really did nail the graphics in RC and with "none" (default) PP set.
Mayyybe, on default, it's a better representation of 'car in a shadow' look, really not sure.

First picture is default graphics with 'default' PP set
Second picture is Andrea's files with 'default' PP set
Third picture is Andrea's files with 'andrea's' PP set.

They are all on "farplane-1000" though

yes kunos with default made answome work but autoexposure is a bit too hard...

so i modified a lot dof and glare in my files and add some sharpness to the image...for the shadows i think mine is little better because at 13.00 are very dark but seems lighter oaround the day...and let me to reduce autoexposure kicking-in effects

glare settings in the PP ini files. That controls all the light shape and size is what you need to change
