1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    No, not ninja'd at all. That screenshot only shows they're working on a fix, it says nothing about when it's done.

    Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a fix in 1.4. I'm just saying you shouldn't get your hopes up until you read something about if officially.

    I said that because now we have confirmation that they have a way of preventing cheats, even if for know it'll only works in the big SRO events

    This appears to be a corona virus boredom related issue. Once social distancing restrictions have been lifted the hacker will be back out on his corner, too busy taking throat shots to worry about trolling ACC servers.

    I dont know man. His real name was pretty easy to find out and what i saw after a bit of googling makes me think that he lives a pretty sad life where it doesnt make much of a difference, if he is in quarantine or not...

    Fairly sure they are aware of this, they will be analysing the data and will likely be able to see if anyone is doing something they shouldn't be. I think at first they will just check the data and likely boot someone manually if needed, if their method works then they will look at automating things and working it into a patch.

    What they will do with people they may find cheating is the question, I would really like some method that can spot any funny business auto boots the person from a server and then also puts them on a blacklist from that server permanently along with adding a perma ban to any official servers for people caught cheating. There is no real excuse for even attempting to cheat and anyone doing anything in that regard knows exactly what they are doing and if there is a harsh ban for anyone attempting to cheat it may make them think a bit harder before trying to do it again. Fixing a current loophole is one thing but removing the cancer as in those wanting to cheat is a better method IMHO. Once a cheat always a cheat is the general rule I go by, if you stop them cheating one way they will just try and find another way to cheat wasting more time for devs and ruining the vast majority of the users experiance using the software as intended.

    If an anti-cheat system is coming, so much the better, but in the meantime, what's Kunos doing ?! If this system comes with V1.4 (that's a hypothesis), that leaves the bastard two more weeks to ruin the race of drivers who didn't ask for anything ... Kunos knows his name and his Steam ID, why not ban him from online races at least ? It's been going on for 4 days and from the outside we have the impression that Kunos doesn't do anything against him ...

    Maybe they are using him as a live test subject, the more data they get from him the better so banning him atm may hurt more then it helps. This may effect people negatively atm but in the long run will likely help find a method to eliminate such clowns to cheating with AI only where they can do whatever they want as nobody else cares.

    This is what I think is happening. They've had bans integrated into CP servers since the revamp in December, they could have easily banned straight away if they wanted to.
