Just some clarification about "Competition"

Hello everyone, I'd like to start this thread with hope it reach the Kunos guys. First I want to say that I don't want to start blame on this title, also because after 1.0.7 update I'm enjoying the title much more than before.. well first I'd like to know, in competition server we're gonna have just 1 hour races or we're gonna have like 3 hours race (with driver swap). I think that this title miss the most fascinating part of Blancpain GT Series, the Endurance part. I've done a 1:30 hour race, with full day - night transition, during this period you had to change driving style because you had to preserve tires during day, and save fuel during night.. and racing with a team mate is a little more funny.
Second: about the 1 hour race , are we gonna have also mandatory pit stop? Maybe with the option to choose whether to switch driver or not, in real life they have to switch drivers
Or maybe you're planning SRO Esport with all these features, who know?

 

If you want to do 3hr endu races with driver swap, you should really find a league. Doing it with random people will never work and I can't imagine this will ever make it to CP servers.

 

Yes but you know that you are just leaving the best part of the Blancpain GT Series.. I think that could be a good idea in using the driver swap for competition server ...

 

Afaik CP servers aren't attracting full servers as is. Implementing driver swap would require atleast 2x as many players.
Aside from that, driverswap with random people is pretty much impossible. How would it be organized in the first place?

You need a league to organize such a big event. Maybe if you can get enough serious people together, you can set up your own server, but doing this with random people is never gonna work.
