1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    If you guys use Content Manager you have all of the VR settings in one place without having to manually change ini files here and there.
    You can also save presets, so f.i. I have one setting with ppd @1.5, higher shadows, reflections, etc for hotlapping... and one setting with ppd @1.3 with lower settings for racing the ai or multiplayer

    Also you have presets per mode: replays on monitor at max settings, race on vr...

    Hi Guys,

    maybe not the correct place to ask, but what do i just need to start with the oculus? is the basic set enough?
    Oculus Rift Bundle (Rift + Touch)
    , i think i will use the Oculus 90 % for Assetto , maybe later other games ....

    i bought a year ago a triple setup , but soem reason to much hassle to let it work and still the immersion feels "flat" and the screens makes some heat :p

    The windows MR headsets use inside out tracking so no external sensors. Easier to set up, possibly not as accurate at this stage but not sure how much it would matter for sim racing

    Head tracking is very good. I heard some complaints about controllers tracking but haven't experienced anything unordinary with freshly installed batteries, spent good few hours yesterday playing Racket NX, very quick reaction and precision.
    Yes, you do need some lights in the room.
    And you can also use Vive controllers and Vive Stations with WMR.

    Wait for the next gen. I don't think upgrading now makes much sense. SDE is still there.
    I am curious who will start pushing it further first, Oculus or Microsoft. WMR keeps getting better every day, integration with OS and SteamVR are pretty good now, so is the performance.

    It's good, isn't it?

    Shame it still runs on DX9, hence crap performance.

    I found that locking the fps to 45 with ASW on as a default helps a lot.
    Also I've heard rumors that SCS is working on the engine, so fingers crossed ETS/ATS will be updated to DX11.

    So, after almost a week with VR I can savely say I cannot go back to a flat, single screen!
    Did try the formula V in Automobilista, and felt it’s not right after 2 corners!
    Damn I’m spoiled, and remind you I’m only on a DK2!
