1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    It was good but too many drawbacks, as the technology improves I'll buy but for me it was just annoying constantly taking the headset off and on, got really sweaty, wires everywhere for sensors and the rift, tiny sweet spot lense, blurry resolution, difficult to run performance wise and screen door effect.

    On the plus side the Immersion was great and build quality was excellent. Im just waiting for a lot of those negatives to disappear before I consider it a worthwhile purchase. I did enjoy the roomscale games but they're all way too similar with no real deep gameplay elements, just basic wave shooters etc

    I think I have a new good use in AC. I newly fancy being driven around in the passenger seat... It’s bloody fantastic!

    One thing guys, I must admit I had a broken sensor cable, and didn’t even noticed! Then I came across some old DK2 vids...
    I thought it was plausible to not being able to move inside the car while strapped into a racing harness. I was wrong.:oops:
    After replacing the faulty cable I have a total new experience now! I think I enter the world of VR step by step....:):confused:

    Yeah that happened to me the other day too...

    I thought I screwed something as I just updated the shader patch when it happened.
    But then tried PCars2 and it was the same and eventually discovered the firmware update pending ..

    assuming you are using shader light patch, if you don't, wake up!

    It will give you virtually (pun intended) a real view in the mirrors, you will see the side of the car in the exterior mirrors, the back of the car in the inside mirrors, that with the parallax we already had with shader light patch, makes for a alleluia vr experience in AC.

    yes, adjust in directions and FOV, amazing. can we see the interior of the car in PCars2?
    not sure about the FPS, will depend on different rig I guess, did not notice anything drastic on mine.
    N.B works best with review51, o is left side mirror, 1 is central and 2 is right side mirror.

    yeah they are really cool (aswell has the other effects from the Shader mod) but it hits the FPS , without the custom shader I can hit 90FPS most of the time except when lots of cars are about , but with the custom shader it never goes above 45FPS.

    I am trying to play with the ini files to turn some effects off to get back FPS but no luck yet. (and also watching the prices of 1080/1080 TI on ebay)

    It's pretty heavy on the GPU but I haven't got any numbers to throw in. I think I had 60-70fps while standing still on pitlane with 10 AI cars but I have SS set quite high so therefore I'm a bit catious to say anything.

    Overall the biggest performance hit with the custom shader patch comes from the need to keep PP enabled.

    Never going above 45fps is not a problem with the CV1, as this is due ASW kicking in, if you didn't knew about it. Having random fps between 45-90fps would be a problem :)

    On my GTX970 I usually have stable 45fps (not going under), but when running custom shaders for VR mirrors it drops to 30-35fps in mp, so only option for me is 8xAF and 2xAA, no PP, PPD at 1.5.
    It's bareable, but I can only run my normal settings in sp practice.

    Also looking for 1080/1080TI :D

    I have a few settings in Content Manager , some that are aiming for 90FPS and others with the settings increased to just run at 45FPS.

    To be honest I don't see much difference between 90 and 45 but still try and keep it at 90 anway.
