1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I think there already is a kart mod but dont know about tracks.

    ontopic: The game looks quite nice and karts are perfect for someone like me that getting sea sick by driving f1 cars :D Will most likely buy it if people say good things about it.

    Can AC simulate kart physics and other details properly? If not then better leave karts to some other game that, possibly, can.

    curious about this one .. Karting is not really well done in any of sims (I like SuperKarts in GSC though) .. being so much about feeling the Kart with your body and that is hard to translate into computer game ..

    I can't find any info on the developers or any other games they've made?? I really like Kart Racing Pro and the karts in Rfactor. It seems nobody talented has attempted to model go karts in AC. I don't know if that's because of a game engine limitation?

    Will be keeping an eye on this!

    someone released a kart and some tracks last year, but it did not yield much response iirc. I tried it once, and it felt pretty bland. I mean in a real kart you sit basically with your *** on track, and feels fast even in slow rental karts, but in AC it felt even slower than normal car driving.
    It also is rather hard to simulate the "suspension" of a kart in the AC engine, it does not like extreme values for springs etc.

    I found every "kart game" or sim pretty useless with G27, because of its famous center deadzone; but the main thing to manage well a kart is optimal sensitivity in the center point of the wheel, due to little and precise movements needed. .-.

    Kartsim looks interesting but its been vapourware for many years. Looks like it will make it eventually and nice to see they laser scanned at least 2 of my local kart tracks. I never really liked karts in any sim though so it all comes down to how they drive.

    That's what I'd like to know too. I only saw they wrote "new announcements coming tomorrow" on the Steam forums. It was the day before that RD interview and it was the only thing related to KartKraft news, no announcements whatsoever.

    As far as i can tell, there is no date, only a 'coming very soon' kind of message.

    I`ve got it followed on Steam, and currently it`s not out but i`ll get notification of when it`s available for purchase.
