1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

From the AC dev notes on Lambo license, they mentioned the 235i Racing version in passing...so excited about that future release! I love the M3 E92, high hopes for the new car. I can't wait to set a similar lap time around the Kunos laserscanned Ring like in this video:

Comments and fan mania welcome and encouraged! :D Love that police livery, too :p

I hope this one is much more focused than the 1m.. it's soo on a lower league than the m3, unstable, peaky, seems like a car good only for the straight line..

I love the M235i racer is coming to AC. I'm eagery awaiting M2 in about a year(if...) M235 racer will be way more focussed than 1M/M3 E92 because they are both 'streetversions' more or less. Silly thing is I can drive/drift AC 1M like a lunatic, just like the M3 and on normal tracks with a lot of turns- all other things being equal- I'm a tad faster with 1M. Nordschleife is the other way around. Like just in real life as stated by sportauto laptimes.

1M in AC is a bit too nervous, more than in real life.

    Cheers

maybe in ac the 1m is modeled with the low profile 19-inch or more tyres that's why i found it so more snappy than the m3 e92.. seem like you can't rely on lateral grip especially on long bends ( and i don't think is only due to the shorter wheelbase) and is much more easy to lock while braking (actually engage abs and lose directionality.. it's very hard to trail brake compared to the m3)

In real life just like you're saying it's the PS2 19 inch tyre setup which makes the car go into snap oversteer. More square setup or other tyre(brand/size) make the car more 'forgiving' more or less. Tyrechoices can do a lot for/against 1M in real life.
I'm now on 225/40 square, which is a tad too narrow at the back(wintersetup) but it's one fluently driftable car(compound). With the PS2 245/265 it's a lot less easy.

    Cheers
    Robin

Surely a bit more fun them m3 e92, lighter with stickier tires and about the same power iirc, plus bmw poised balance
