XB1 Kunos.., use the mirrors to improve FPS issue.

Devs,

You guys should seriously consider the mirrors as a starting point to improve the frame rate issues many of us are experiencing.

While playing the title tonight, I realized that little extra bump in frame rates would benefit from lightiy reducing the FPS in the mirrors, and a minute reduction in the mirrors graphics too. I'm not suggesting resolution as low as say the original GRID racing title, but slight reductions in these two areas just might improve the overall FPS performance. When driving it's kinda backwards. The FPS in the mirrors showing what's behind you is better than what's going on infront of you.

Turn 10 actually reduced the FPS with the mirrors in Forza 6. Kaz ended up doing graphic reductions throughout the entire title to help improve GT6's performance.

Just a suggestion.

 

To me the fps issue looks more like a conflict in the backround. I have races with 12 or 15 Ai Drivers and no fps issues and then with no Ai cars I had. So I think reducing graphics it's not the solution. I guess it have to do with cpu processing and xbox os.
If I'm honest I expect more graphic details with a later update. To me xbox version seem not at the edge of possibilities. It's only a matter of time and xbox one version should run smoothly. I really hope KS have the resources to do that.

But how did they achieve this? I'm sure you will see that the mirror framerate is reduced to 30fps when the patch hits. It's one of the only logical big gains I can see.

 

Sorry but I don't agree at all, in fact to be honest I find this whole thread to be quite funny and really who cares? They already said they figured out what was causing the issue.

 

When you find this thread funny and you don't care why you comment here. Nobody cares about that.
For sure did kunos better know where they can optimize the code. But that doesn't mean that whe can share our thoughts here about the graphics in the console version.

 

I don't know if you are agreeing, or disagreeing!

What I do know is that they have not done a console game before, and maybe have just overlooked obvious techniques to improve performance.

I hope you fall off of your high-and-mighty horse trying to dictate to us what we can and cannot say.
