1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Dear devs and community.

Due to some positive feedback by players on gtplanet and the very attractice price here in France I decided to buy it. So far it has mainly be a positive experience and the feeling when driving is really great. I came across a few issues I would like to mention:

    • AI in career is unbalanced (easy can be very hard and hard can be easy)
    • Challenges need tweaking (certain times and AI)
    • Challenge with the Abarth 500 Trofeo hangs the interface and the hud and loading screen go into a sort of 800x600 mode. Unable to exit.
    • Replays stutter
    • Car is often out of focus during replay. Example Ferrari 312T at Magiore.
    • During replays wheel sink into the tarmac or go through a layer of fog
    • Photomode is missing
    • After a race the player jumps straight into the pits. AI queing behind.
    • Some framerate issues on PS4 during gameplay (solo or with ai)
    • Career is unclear in showing which rounds are finished and which not.
    • There are sound bugs. Nurburgring National with every bmw. Sound cracks and more obvious when looking left and right
    • Alfa GTA has audio bug everytime one looks left or right
    • Music in menus or while loading only plays in one speaker instead of two (only tested headset)
    • Replay often incomplete even on 3 lap race
    • Several track objects flicker during gameplay. Example pitbuilding Monza
It's what I noticed and I hope those issues can be addressed in the future. As said I am hugely enjoying the driving experience overall and the game has a solid foundation.

If I can make a few suggestions which would to the variation of the base game:
    • Custom championship
    • leaderboards for non tuned cars
    • Photomode with filters, shutterspeed and autofocus option. See driveclub as an example
    Special request :)
    • A Peugeot for me to drive. I really miss that
Thanks for reading and if I stumble into more issues I'll note them down in this thread.

    Regards,
    P308R

I think your list is very good P308R,
I would add three more issues:
    - In online mode after the race you jump straight into pits and wait until everyone finishes the race and suddenly the qualyfing begins again without any notice about your race result
    - Screen tearing
    - Collissions with other cars are VERY unrealistic (sometimes you just touch an other car and you crash very hard)

@P308R you should open a new thread with this list of issues so that everyone sees it and maybe they can add their problems

    Regards Daniel46
