XB1 Logitech G920, is it working well ?

Hi everyone.

I bought a Logitech G920 on sale a few days ago, to play on Xbox One S. I also bought Project Cars 2 because I had fun with the first one on PC. But the game seems to have a lot of bugs with its FFB on Xbox One S, making it virtually unplayable. So I'm considering to go with Assetto Corsa instead. First of all, can anyone tell me that the setup [Xbox One S + Logitech G920 + Assetto Corsa] will work fine ? No clanky annoying vibrations like I got on Project Cars 2 ?

Also, but it might bit out of topic here, how's the career mode in Assetto Corsa ? In Project Cars 2 it's great (if you can play it).

I used to have a G25 & G27 the clanky vibrations you talk about is a common occurrence on Logitech wheels when FFB is too high and makes that clickety clank noise as they are driven by gear cogs, unlike Thrustmaster and Fanatec Belt driven wheels.

Try lowering FFB Gain in games where it happens generally happens when the wheel clips i.e. game is trying to send more FFB power than the wheel can handle.

Essentially your goal is removing the rattling.
Now, in PC2 it is not possible so I would suggest you sell it or trade for Mario Kart .
Regarding AC , you simply need to plug in the steering wheel and remove all the additional effects. it worls superbly.

 

Lower the FFB % to about 60-70% depending on the car, if you have it higher than that. If you have it set lower, great, however set the remainder of the values at 0 as mentioned (slip, kerb, road). When I was using a friend's g920 for a few months first starting out, this worked for me.
