1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Logitech G920 Problems

    Good evening,
I don't know whether I'm asking the right question here or whether I'm opening the post in the wrong area.
It's about me playing with the G920 on the PC.
Unfortunately, I only have the problem, as soon as I load a training session, for example, all the power is off my steering wheel and I have hardly any force feedback at all.
I have deleted and reinstalled everything such as Logitech programs like GHUB or LGS, nothing brings anything.
I wanted to ask does anyone know the problem and maybe has a solution? iRacing works without problems, only ACC creates problems.
I know that a G920 doesn't generate a lot of FFB, but e.g. in iRacing or Assetto Corsa I have a really noticeable FFB.

At the point of my settings, I tried everything 50% gain or 100% and the rest to 0% or e.g. only the minimum power to 5%.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  3. I do not use g920 anymore that i can not test and confirm atm. ACC sometimes get confused with the controllers. Also send a screenshot of your settings in case you unintentionally set something low.

    Try the followings.
    - Always power on Wheel sets before ACC (for g920 you may even need to power on before PC)

If your wheel was working OK before,
    > Load a different wheel profile. If you do not have one create new. then load back your old.

If your wheel was NOT working OK before, (try one at a time, proceed to next if it does not solve the problem)
    >Check GHub. If you have a profile for ACC either delete or reset to default. Disable center spring.
    > go to Windows control panel\hardware&sound\Devices and printers. Open device properties of G920 and recalibrate. This usually solves problems caused by Ghub.

BTW LGS and GHub do not get along well if you installed both you will have problems. You will not only need to uninstall both but you need to remove everything related to them in registry, Start up menu etc. Really problematic and time consuming but better then reinstalling windows. Stick with one. LGS was better but does not work well with new games. Ghub does not make any difference (at least for Wheels controllers). I used to install it only for the drivers.

    > Go to My document\Asseto Corsa Competizione\Config folder. Back up controls.json and then delete the one in the folder. This will force ACC to recreate a fresh controls.json.

    Hey

    Thanks for your answer !

    I'll append my current settings.

So I've got it a little better now (it seems so to me) by using an active USB hub to which I connect the steering wheel.

Nevertheless, the force feedback in the game seems very weak to me.

I tried your idea, now I notice the zsm with the hub, that FFB works very, very weakly.

Logitech Support doesn't want to help me either. I think I can't get around a new steering wheel.

    Attached Files:

  5. Reduce the Dynamic Damping to %50. The higher the percentage it make the wheel smoother. As G920 already smooth you do not need to damp it 100%. If your arms and hands are strong you can even reduce some more like 35-40%. Control and FFB settings are not well explained and it causes confusion.

Also check within ACC if your FFB is clipping. 100% + Road effects usually cause clipping for G920. You may need to reduce gain if you want road effects.

The center spring parameter in Logitech driver is almost useless as many modern sims adjust it themselves. having something/ anything set in driver settings potentially cause problems.

One last thing, Search for G920 LUTs in here and in racedepartment. There was one LUT for AC (which works well with ACC too). Give it a try.
