1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

PHYSICS MoTeC telemetry and dedicated ACC workspace

  1. I'll try, but I've haven't messed with channel names, it shouldn't have this problem...

I know you haven't messed with the channel names and no you shouldn't have to on a Workbook that was created for the game, but as you can see the default names don't match what ACC puts out, so you have to either add them or edit those existing ones.

The point being the names have to match what the game puts out, this applies to any game and is why you see some people in this thread having problems when trying to use a Workbook originally made for a different game.

  3. What I meant with my comment was that the channels should be the correct ones by default, unless Aris wanted us to try how to fix it so we learn how to use them lol

I'm playing ACC from december or january this year and started to use Motec telemetry... 5 hours ago :). I'm playing only Lexus, so I know this car good and changed my setup those 5-6 months and stopped at that. Today I put my setup from Barcelona and Spa to Motec and I see I have tendency to setup car like this:

    Spa:

    Barcelona:

Looks similiar? :) I mean bound tendency to go right and rebound to left. I watched Aris on YT and heard it's good when rebound = bound. What can I still change in my setup to level both sides of graphs? And actually are they look good or not? Aren't they too flat? Specially front wheels.

The worksheet that Aris provided has no problems at all, all works properly fine. You must understand that the worksheet was created as a very crude and simplistic example worksheet with very basic telemetry features. The example worksheet was only meant to be a showcase of the basic functionalities of motec working together with ACC, but the task of create or provide a proper custom worksheet is up to the user. It is the same as the setups, the game provides you 3 generic setups for every car and track combo, and those setups work fine, but if the user want further customization or a proper setup suited to the user, then it is up to the user to create setups, fiddle with them to adapt the handling to the user confort zone and find what makes the car click setupwise. Experienced users of motec re-use old custom worksheets made for games as old as GTR1 or Rfactor 1, and more advanced users go one step further and use chanel aliases, so the change from one sim to another only takes about 10 minutes of linking chanels instead of waste literaly hours editing all the chanel names in every single feature, formula and sheet of the motec worksheet.

Now that you are starting to wanting to customize the example worksheet, you are starting to look under the hood and you are finding generic channels left there without proper use in that rainbow map because most probably that rainbow map was copy-pasted from another worksheet from a real life racing team or from another sim, and that functionality never was intended to be used with ACC in the example worksheet under normal use.

Right now the devs are living a dreamed success, but in the time when the telemetry was implemented in ACC they where working a hell of a lot of of extra-hours every day, almost rewriting the whole game under big pressure and scrutiny with everybody and his dog giving them hell because of the big early problems that the sim had by then. So wasting hours in edit links to channels without any use in a example worksheet wasn't very high in their priority list, hence you have found links to chanel names with not use at all, because those where meant for another purpose in a different worksheet. That's not a big deal, just link there the right channel, or just delete those chanel links if you don't like them there. The map will keep working fine anyways either you delete them relink them or you let them stay as it is.

That's the true Laguna Seca track :D. You just need to generate the shape of the track. Load a telemetry file for that track and then go to the menu component > Track editor... > Generate Track > in the range select a lap that you know that it is a full lap and a clean one without major mistakes and click ok. That's a standard procedure in motec when you open a telemetry file for a new track-car combo.

  8. What do you mean with this, that the map isn't supposed to be used?

  9. Thank you

Is possible that the maximun speed indicator shows the speed of both laps?

  11. I hope this is the last of my problem set uping MoTeC :D
Instead of the nice chart that Aris has, I see this:
    upload_2020-5-5_16-57-58.png
With the time of the full sessions. Anyone knows how to fix it? @Aristotelis

    Check if these files work

    Attached Files:

No, they all say the time of the whole session

Then there's an issue with your workspace. Try right click on your Section Times tab, properties and check if Range Group is set to this.

  15. Okay, now it works with my files:
    upload_2020-5-5_17-32-33.png
    But not with yours:

Anyway, if my new files works then it's enough
Thank you so much for your time @Oblit0r

If you go in properties again and go to the Display tab, you can customize it a bit more.
If you select all proper laps on the left, you can see what your optimal laptime would be.

For me it looks like this:

What is rolling minimus? Why at the right of some times there is a white bar in your pic? (that appears red to me because of the colour of rolling minimus)

Not sure :D This is what it says in the help documenation
    Rolling Minimum
The rolling minimum shows the set of consecutive times that form the minimum overall time.
